This is a wow moment, the peaceful experience is mind blowing. The room was beautiful, and the lookout of nature was sensational. The comfort of the room was satisfying. We didn't receive the code for arrival, but the staff that assisted us was wonderful, giving us our continental breakfast items and explaining the ins and outs of the property. The property is close to town of Lismore Heights and accessible to people with disabilities.

We arrived at night in drkness so it was difficult to get a fix on location and most things were closed as it was winter. However, it was a lovely harbour and area during the daylight to walk and grab a coffee.

A beautiful bay nestled in the coast line.

A beautiful bay nestled in the coast line. Lives up to its description of being picturesque. The lighthouse was worthy of a tour and the guide very informative and interesting. Enough "up-market" but also reasonably priced eating establishments. A few towns within driving distance that were worth visiting e.g. Bangalaw.

Port Macquarie is a town of about 50,000 people spread over quite a wide area. In 1821, Port Macquarie was founded as a penal settlement, replacing Newcastle as the destination for convicts who had committed secondary crimes in New South Wales. For the tourist, there is a lot to see and do, with a walk along the marina, the Breakwell and the coastal path a must. Beautiful beaches such as Town Beach, Shelley Beach, Oxley Beach and Flynn Beach - all within a few kilometers. A Hastings River cruise is a must. Driving around Port Macquarie is easy.

Many tourist trao andI was scam 3 times for 4 nights and 5 days stay in Ballina. HARD to book Uber. Book 46 minutes ahead tine. For short distance ride use Taxi. NO DiDi available. Be weary to talk tobstrangers, particular LONG term guest of Caravan Park. Do NOT talk to Aborigines @ bus STOP who will scam tourists or visitors. Do NOT give credit card details to SMALLER motel or accomodation business

Lovely, relaxed, beautiful place, lots of great places to walk to. We had breakfast at the local Bakehouse which was really nice and had evening meals at the Golf Club and at the Mexican on Coldstream St. Visited the nearby town of MacLean which was really nice too, especially interesting for anyone with Scottish heritage. We saw lots of dolphins at Convent Beach and there were lots of great places to do whale watching. Watching the sunrise from the lighthouse was stunning.

A great spot for families to holiday, beautiful walk along the riverfront and out to the end of the 'V' wall breakwater at the entrance of Nambucca River to the ocean. You can occasionally spot dolphins and whales. The funky painted rocks/concrete cubes along the 'V' wall are fun to read telling tales of happy family holidays year after year.

I attended a VWGA golf tournament from Sunday to Wednesday and experienced a friendly atmosphere and the golf course was very challenging but nice to play. Any golfers I would recommend to travel to Taree to play a round or two. Access to everything easy. Would recommend the Sailo's restaurant on the river bank for a meal.
