It is a quieter place than Siem Reap and less developed but that is a bonus - some good restaurants and the Phare Circus school was great. Battambang is starting to see more travelers, so the place is gradually improving. Prices are similar to Siem Reap. In the city, it is worth visiting: Wat Kandal, Domrey Sor Pagoda.
