When we got there they charged us 2175. Pesos. We did notice it till after we left, so this is something anyone booking through booking.com needs to be aware of.
We felt it was very unfair!

Colima overall is a great place to visit, you can go the the beaches along the coast. Inland has many excellent restaurants, keep in mind you are not going to a Ruth Chris type of restaurants. You can take taxis which are fairly inexpensive. You can take a trip to the volcano or drive for 1/2 hour or longer.

Ever since I first visited friends I originally met in California, I have been in love with Colima. It's not a tourist trap, so life just seems more genuine. The Cathedral was elevated to a Minor Basílica due to the people's devotion to Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. The city parks are many and vibrant. My favorite time is December when they convert into cultural markets. The museums are lovely and quite informative. Culture is thriving thanks to the efforts of the University of Colima. Comala, a Pueblo Mágico is a definite stop as is a trip to see the volcano. The landscape is lush and beautiful and the beaches are amazing! Head to Playa la Boquita for a spectacular experience. I've visited other places in México, but I always find myself back in Colima.

Colima has plenty to offer, many small towns on the outskirts. It offers plenty of excellent food throughout the city. There are a couple of breweries that are excellent. The beach (Manzanillo) is approximately 45 minutes away from downtown Colima and has some well known beaches and hotels.

Colima is a very safe place to visit.
Colima is a very safe place to visit. You can catch a taxy to Comala and enjoy beautiful scenery and the wonderful food experience. Also visit Don Comalon you pay for drinks and they bring really tasty appetizers to enjoy for the price of the drink. Most hotels work with tour companies that will take you to the volcanoes views are excellent!

The location is fabulous. The manager is a gem, very flexible and welcoming of my puppy and I. The historical building is gorgeous, yet modest. Very clean and spacious. The bed and the linens were very nice. It is very clean and the shared kitchen very convenient. I would return in a heartbeat, after the level of violence in poor Colima calms down.
Sure, it is important that they take care of the general state of the rooms. The paint on the walls was terrible, the lamps were sticked together with tape, I asked them to change rooms and they showed me another room downstairs that smelled very damped. The staff was doing their best but they really need to take care of the place.
Wonderful hotel in a breathtakingly beautiful colonial building. Lovely terrace with hammock and seating area, cozy inner courtyard, big room with beautiful decor, two balconies and huge bathroom. Quiet and peaceful. Very secure. Amazing price quality ratio. Small pool.
Cheap and very basic but had everything needed for a night in Colima. clean room, good air con, free strong wifi, great shower. tv did not work but we’re not in room other than to shower and sleep. Staff very friendly
The location is good, you are close to the downtown area. The staff keeps the hotel very clean and are friendly. The hotel is secure they keep track of who comes in and out
the staff were super helpful when we had to change our room due to no working AC - Gated parking at night. Prob best hotel in town, large rooms, but not worth staying.
Smaller hotel beautiful courtyard. Walking to shopping and garden Square in front of hotel.
Quiet and relaxing . No pool so no kids. Restaurant on site.
