Natchez is a hidden gem for history buffs. Nice friendly town. Took the ‘Rev’ tour and learned a lot of history of the area. Saw a lot of gorgeous old homes and property. Also took a carriage ride through the city for more history and sights. Love the days we were here!

We found Natchez to be a very nice, clean and safe town to stay in. Lovely to stroll around the downtown and residential areas to enjoy the lovely houses and historical buildings.
The area beside the MIssisipi is great for walking and just enjoying the views of the river.
Plenty of options for food, drink and shopping.
Well worth visiting, very friendly atmosphere.

Natchez is a beautiful old city with beautiful River views, great walking trails, great restaurants, and all kinds of shops unless you were there on a Sunday like we were. We could have easily stayed more days. Walking and watching the Fireworks on New Years Eve and the 4 walking trails were wonderful. The Magnolia Grille was great and had a great menu, including the best fried green tomatoes you can get anywhere!!! Walking around the town is easy and feels very safe.

WE WERE IN TOWN TO ATTEND A COLLEGE GRADUATION CEREMONY, SO WE DIDN'T HAVE A LOT OF FREE TIME TO EXPLORE THE CITY. THE AREAS WE VISITED WERE CLEAN, INVITING AND PICTURESQUE...I LOOK FORWARD TO VISITING THE CITY IN THE FUTURE.

Stay somewhere else than the Magnolia Bluffs Hotel.
Stay somewhere else than the Magnolia Bluffs Hotel. Booked this hotel (rate was higher than other brands) ONLY because website had SPA featured as a property amenity. NO SPA !
Access was not allowed to the advertised outdoor pool featuring a fire pit.
I showed the shuttle bus driver the website and he confirmed that they didn't have those options.
Did I mention …NO SPA. Front desk lady was not nice or helpful with alternatives because I had a non-refundable reservation.
Ice machines only worked on floor 4 and 6 meaning I had to leave my room and take elevator up 2 floors to fill my travel cup. Never again.

Monmouth Historic Inn was perfect for feeling days of yore.
Monmouth Historic Inn was perfect for feeling days of yore. Visited Jefferson Methodist Church for Sunday services; the Presbyterian Photo Gallery of Natches; Rosalie was fascinating; Auburn gave insight on the original dwelling colors. Food was exceptional. Magnolia Grill; Roux 61; and Monmouth 1886 Restaurant.
The hotel is located just outside Natchez, easily accessible from the road with ample parking. The room we were in was North facing with a king bed plenty of room to sit and for luggage and a side view of the Mississippi and Natchez bridge. Breakfast was buffet style with a reasonable choice of drinks, eggs, bacon and biscuit and gravy - not to my choice but had to try it once! All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the free transfer down to the Casino and back did help in the evening.
The location was good as it was just off the highway and had a view of the Mississippi River. The hotel was close to restaurants and easy to get in and out. The room had a king bed and a large tv. The beds were soft as were the pillows. Seating was ample with a desk and chair as well as two other chairs with another table which were very nice. Breakfast was very good as the food was hot and enjoyable.
The room was just the right size, private, and charming. Walking distance to interesting places. Jackie & Joe were so friendly and helpful. Jackie loves the city of Natchez and shares such good recommendations. A wonderful host all the way around. The morning breakfast delivered to the room were wonderful. Natchez is a warm and friendly place to visit. We hope to visit again!
The Guest House is a beautiful and comfortable hotel in Natchez. It’s an impeccably kept property; very clean. The furnishings are charming and authentic. The full breakfast is a great value. The staff is wonderful and efficient. It is near everything you might want to do in Natchez. The city itself is lovely, and this hotel is well worth a stay.
The walkable location could be the best part, but the charm and history outshine it all! The cottage is comfortable and enchanting. Breakfast is an experience of its own. The main house is a memorable showcase of Natchez history and gallery quality furnishings and art. We would recommend a stay if visiting Natchez. We will always be back!
The property was nice. Every staff member we meet was super nice and helpful. I really liked the breakfast. We were there during a school State competition so the hotel was fully booked and they were refilling the breakfast surprisingly fast. The beds were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect!
beautiful house with gorgeous room (Marjorie) in a lovely setting- a real treat to stay here. excellent tour by Christy after the superb breakfast. highly recommend if you are visiting Natchez - in fact, go out of your way to visit lovely Natchez and make sure you book early to stay at Linden
Free hot breakfast. Comfy bed. Good price. Great service. It's an older but updated hotel. Our king room was really nice. They changed out our towels with just a 2 night stay and provided more soap. We didn"t need this service, but it was nice because I seldom see this anymore.
Historical building tastefully restored, offering great accommodation, large beautiful garden and amongst the best dining food we’d found in the US- the duck was exceptional. The owners we’re at the hotel and ensure attention to detail and good service is maintained
The staff was fantastic, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a sample of southern cooking. We could sit on the front porch and watch Natchez life go by. Also, it was a short walk to the pathway along the Mississippi River to downtown Natchez and Fort Rosalie.
THE FREE WIFI WAS THE ONLY POSITIVE PART OF MY STAY. THE REST OF MY COMMENTS WOULD NOT BE POSITIVE BECAUSE THIS FACILITY WAS ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING. IF WE COULD HAVE FOUND ANOTHER HOTEL WITH AVAILABILITY FOR OUR TRAVEL DATES, WE WOULD HAVE LEFT THE PREMISES.
The cottage was absolutely charming! It was everything we had expected and more. Our hosts had paid attention to every detail and We would highly recommend it to anyone who wanted to experience Natchez at its best.
Creaky sound of wooden structure when walking around in room; reminiscent of old European grand hotels. Charming decor also of the old Mississippi historic river life. The view of the river was spectacular.
