Everything was perfect!
A beautiful place! Super nice staff!
Freeport is very quiet and calm place. You will feel they’re like in the small village, far from the city. Many beautiful beaches where you can be totally alone. If you want to explore the island, definitely you will need to rent a car, there are not many taxi services in the city. Also be prepared, that there are not many bars or restaurants and the shops (grocery stores) are opened until 8pm during the week days

Freeport is not very interesting from a touristic point of view. It provides major opportunities for grocery shopping and dining, but lacks other shopping facilities and other sights. Freeport has been suffered from multiple hurricanes, that hurt the island very much. You can see a lot of scars everywhere.

The pine forests were partially destroyed by Hurricane Dorian, which flooded the island and the sea salt ended up drying the trees, which turns out to be an interesting phenomenon to observe. The all-inclusive hotels on the island are very good and the beaches are beautiful.

For the absolute best fishing in Freeport go with Les from Lil B’s Fishing. Very reasonably priced. Perfect for beginners or advanced. We caught a 4 ft Barracuda one day. Head to Port Lucya it needs all the love it can get. Give the ladies in the straw market some business. They have had it tough since the two hurricanes & lockdown
I booked this resort for 6nights and i had to travel back early because of some emergency in the family so i checked out 3 nights before and i requested the manger if she could part potion of the payment could refund it?
I sent a email to her i try to call her not even single reply from yhe manger to the customers wellfair
I find she is very ignorent and rude not responsible at all.
Please i would never recommend this place for anyone to stay
There are much better resorts in freeport and with much respect towards to the customer.
This hotel is amazing considering the affects of storm Dorian and the impact it has had on the island. The location is exceptional the pool the sea are just amazing. Staff were welcoming and friendly. It was very quiet with day passengers from cruise ships and it was out of season. food choices for me personally were a bit limited but as the number of people arriving increased them by offering buffet options which provided more choice. However the table service meal quality in terms of presentation and heat of food were much better.
This place is a gem. Delicious coffee and Mr. Evans's home-cooked breakfast served up hot in the beautiful, colorful front room. Mrs. Evans's rescue birds chirping and talking happily. The dog Sport quick to say hello. A clean and bright and airy room to sleep in, and a clean private bathroom. The conversation was always pleasant when offered, and privacy completely respected. The location is central to everything in Freeport, and white sand beaches await east, west, or just a very short drive south.
The beach is lovely, soft white sand dotted with palms and the sea is nice too. Plenty of beach beds.
The sunbeds around the pool are super comfy, although there are not enough for the amount of guests who want to use them.
Staff are nice and friendly.
The hotel grounds are generally pretty and the hotel buildings look nice from the outside.
Breakfast was good, great selection of fresh fruit. Other meals were ok.
I have stayed at the Wyndham several times and it's always so nice! Staff is very friendly! I had a massage on the beach by a lady named Tamara and she did a great job! If you go there ask for her please!!!!! Bartender by the name of Pedro was so entertaining and made fantastic drinks!!! I will definitely be staying there again!!!
Everything was tickety boo. Extremely friendly and helpful staff that goes beyond expectations. Great location - close to everything. Very spacious rooms that you usually expect only from a five star hotel. Delicious meals and quick service at the restaurant. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back again!
When I arrived at the hotel, the room was horrible no lights, no balls, dirty sheets, bugs on the floor, air conditioner, falling out of the wall disgusting after meeting with the manager some three hours. After my arrival, they put it into another room which was acceptable but after three hours of ways to
The staff is very friendly and service oriented. The owner manager is very good and stay in the premisses, which is important for a family run small hotel. They offer personalized servive and the restaurant offers grest fresh food.
The room was great in size and quality.
This place is Amazing. Like a hidden gem in the Grand Bahamas. All the staff treated us really nice, super friendly, very respectful. Place is clean. Their food was very delicious along with the drinks. You ll love the view to the ocean from the pool !!
The room was a very good size but relatively basic.
It had a nice balcony and the bathroom was fine. The hotel is in a very good location with great pool facilities and a breakfast option (not great if you are vegetarian) but pretty acceptable.
Linda and Hilton are very welcoming and very willing to share their local knowledge eg to help me hire a car and find interesting places to visit, and to chat about Grand Bahama. Their home is comfortable and the use of a fridge was very helpful!
Gated access makes you feel secure
Right on the beach with a pool that has loungers. Well equipped apartment with balconies from both bedrooms. Kitchen has all you need. Can't wait to book again next year. Peter is a great guy
EVERYTHING WAS NICE. WE HAD A 2 BEDROOM TOWNHOUSE. WE ARE FROM FREEPORT SO IT WAS JUST A MINI VACATION BECAUSE WE DID NOT TRAVEL BECAUSE OF COVID. LOVED THE AMENITIES, POOL, AND IT WAS REALLY NICE.
WILL BE BACK
Hotel is excellent and would get all top marks.
The only issue was the restaurant. After 3 meals consistently poor service.
Not on par with the rest of the staff or facilities
Did not have breakfast in the hotel. I liked the location and the pool area. The maid was very helpful and courteous. She tried her best to make us comfortable.
