Beautiful property with mountain view. Enjoyed the peaceful countryside, complete with sheep! Very well equipped for making our own meals. Lots of central living space and a nice deck. Very comfortable beds. Blackout curtains were much appreciated. Liked being able to separate the 2 twin beds.

Room was very comfortable! The walls are a little thin and we could hear the neighbors tv but it went off at a reasonable hour. Breakfast was wonderful!

Cabin 2 has plenty of room for four. Living space is large. Bedrooms and bathroom are very nice. Hot tub was clean and easy to use. You need to be smaller and able bodied to get to the upper level.

The location was simply jaw-dropping. It has its own waterfall (at least after a rain!). Mountains and lava fields complete the surroundings. The cabin is well designed, clean, and cozy, and the kitchen equipment met our needs. We loved the picture windows, which also included blackout shades for the sunlit nights. The tiny refrigerator features a freezer, which was a nice amenity for travelers -- like us -- who carry blue ice for a small cooler. If you want to experience the Icelandic wilderness experience, there is no better place!
