Self-Catering Accommodations in Onsensō

The home is very beautiful and very well kept. The staff were very polite, hospitable and understanding. The surrounding area is very beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

The apparent with good modern Japanese design, very clear like a new. The place is located in neighborhood with great green forest , very quiet.

A great place for a large group if you are arriving by car. There are few shops in the city and they are far away, so it is better to take care of food in advance. A great place to relax for a couple of days, I especially liked the jacuzzi with lighting. Special thanks for allowing us to leave our suitcases until check-in!

The villa is filled with useful things all over. The owner has put hundreds of tiny items that one might need on a holiday..that was great 👍. I mean who provides so much usable stuff. Full functional kitchen with all crockery. . Nice heaters . Nice tiny beautiful garden outside. Extremely peaceful and felt a very positive wibe in this house. Though it is old it has authentic real Japanese house charm. Huge bathroom and huge bath tub we loved it. Very good hot water 24/7 . It even has a dehumidifier to dry your clothes fast. Wow.. how thoughtful is this home owner. Respect to them.

The property was beautiful. Lots of space to spend time with friends and enjoy the onsens. Amazing sunrises.

The home itself was wonderful, with a luxurious amount of space. Especially after having stayed in a small Tokyo apartment right beforehand. The home has 3 bedrooms on the second floor, 1 with a queen bed and 2 with double twins. The first floor has a huge kitchen, with the washing machine tucked away, and living room with a fireplace. It gets cold at night on the mountain and heaters are provided throughout the house. The first floor also has a full tatami room also with a fireplace! 12 futons were provided in the tatami room if you wanted to sleep in the traditional style. The main draw of the house was the full rock motif onsen on the first floor. The bath even over looks the greenery of the backyard.

Really enjoyed the basketball court.

The private onsen was a real treat for the whole family. Back side terrace so beautiful. Home theatre adding real moments with high quality projector, Hi-Fi sound bar creating over the top experience. The location just 2 min from bus station.

Absolutely the best place we stayed in all of Japan while on vacation. They have delivery for dinner! Make sure to order by 7PM and relax in the onsen afterwards! Beds are 10/10 and stay is easy

The extra touches were appreciated and thoughtful. From upgrades on soaps, paper goods, a fully appointed kitchen with whole bean coffee and comfortable seating.

This Villa is the perfect size for a small family visit to Gora. The kitchen is fully functional and stocked with enough cookware and crockery for 8. The garden view is quite lovely and the Onsen tub was a nice treat. The Villa is traditional Japanese so be prepared to use a low couch and chairs. The dining room, however, has a western style dining table and chairs. The futon beds were quite comfortable. However, we did find the twin beds a bit firm for our liking. The suite is well air conditioned. It is a short walk to the convenience store and two restaurants. A great find at a very good price.

If you are looking for a Japanese house which combines traditional with modern, than this is the perfect place. The house is really large and spacious. It has 3 bedrooms, one fully equipped kitchen with a connecting dining room and 2 bathrooms. There is a washing machine available and all the necessary toiletries. The salt bath provided is a really nice touch. We really enjoyed the traditional Japanese heated table (Kotatsu) from the dining room. It was amazing having dinner there. 2 rooms had tatami mats and paper walls, which was such a pleasure to see and experience. The location is really good, 5 mins walking from the railway station. Would definitively stay here again if ever in Hakone.

We had 6 travelers, and this was everyone's favorite stay in Japan! We were so bummed we had only planned 1 night there - everyone said it was the most comfortable beds, comforters, and the most relaxing stay!

This house is perfect! 1) location is great, walking distance from the open air museum and short drive from the cable car and train. 2) the house is nicely designed and high end details, even had some cosmetics in the bathroom. 3) the house is big, comfortable, suits a large group or family. 4) great kitchen, sofa, laundry (washing + drying) machine, and projector screen! 5) comfy beds, great linen!

The aspects of traditional with modern were great! Tatami mats, in-built onsen, wood in most places, out in the forest, it was all beautiful and unique. Along with that, kids play room with projector, spacious kitchen and bathroom, washing machine, modern toilet, lighting. We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer!

Nice place, very modern and feel safe, very spacious, Close station

It was a great break on our trip from all the cities we visited. Would have loved to stay longer. Beautiful place, great location and easy access to all means of transportation. The house was perfect and beautifully designed and decorated.

The property far exceeded my expectations and was even better than what I was expecting. The host was also very responsive and helpful! I would 100% stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Beautiful place, great location well appointed kitchen and very quiet. Had everything we could want except storage. Very happy. Easy 10 min walk to train.

We loved our stay here! A beautiful home, and we enjoyed the Japanese experience of futons on the tatami floors. Having the in-home onsen was amazing and we really used it a lot. The landscaping was beautiful, with big windows through the house to enjoy it. A very nice and functional kitchen. The location was excellent for enjoying Hakone with our car.

Cleanliness Communication Spacious spaces Everything!

Everything we needed was available. We especially liked the lower level family area. The warm floors of kitchen made our stay feel cozy.
