Our hotel is located in beautiful Oberau, in the Zugspitzland, in the middle of the Loisachtal. Excellent hiking trails and cycle paths are easily accessible from our family-run hotel.

The location very close to train, coffee machine was a nice touch, kitchen was adequately equipped, beds were comfortable, they have a bike lock up room and only people with bikes can access also has bar to lock to. There is a tunnel right next to property that leads to Garmish under the train tracks was easy to get to grocery store and zugspitz/eibsee cogswheel train, bus was right outside the condo as well, great base to visit zugsitz, Eibsee, Gorge, and Retinal trail

Restaurant & cuisine – The dining room delivered outstanding food, excellent table service, and mountain views that made every meal memorable. Hospitality – Staff throughout the hotel—from check‑in to housekeeping—exceeded every expectation. Breakfast experience – A wide and tasty buffet, prompt service, with hot dishes prepared on request made for an energizing start to each day. Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

The breakfast was my favorite in Europe! so many great options and having a half-board option with dinner was fabulous! The surrounding town and mountains are beautiful, but if you want to stay in, there’s a spa and pools, theater and game room. All very well maintained!

A cozy hotel, just like the town itself, which we came to visit on the recommendation of our relatives. The service was top-notch – we received a local map, advice on where to go, and a warm welcome. The balcony of our room opened to a magnificent view of the mountains. All attractions were within walking distance. Highly recommended.
