Location was for us perfect to explore beautiful national parc Sierra de Guadarrama and areas north of Madrid. It is peaceful, quiet and private. Despite busy road being close I could not hear any city noise. I liked hardwood floors and windows typically found in more northern europian countries which hold the outside chill much better and help to make the house passive. Everything was clean. Hosts Hass and Sara were helpful and always ready to help. The house has all facilities needed, we felt really comfortable there, like home. Nice view from balcony. And, we could park our motorbikes behind the gate, this was really nice of Hass to let us park there, for our peace of mind that the bikes are ok.
