The breakfast was lovely and you had a large selcetion to choose from. The hosts were nice and helpful giving advice on attractions in the area. The location is excellant only a short walk from the station and it is a very good base for travelling to various villages and cities near to Gridelwald. The breakfast was delicious and exquisite. We asked for an upgrade for the room so that we could have the mountain view, and the staff welcomed and helped us. We were very close to the cable car / gondolas to go up to First Mountain (50m across the road), so the location was perfect. Very clean and tidy. Cool place to stay. Good selection of wines. The free mini bar topped up every day. The free spa with large outdoor hot tube overlooking the mountains with 5 different saunas to pick from. Indoor pool and gym all complementary. Breakfast is good with free prosecco.
