This is a lovely oasis close to centre of Merida. Furnished with antiques the place is restful and the staff and owners were wonderful. Breakfast overlooking the garden was always a wonderful experience. The city centre is a pleasant walk or a very cheap uber ride. Very quiet location. Highly recommend this small hotel.

I really enjoyed my time at Hacienda Merida VIP. The building has historical charm and there’s no better way to feel the weight of Merida’s history. The room was very big and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool area. They actually had 3 pools, one for each section. One of the highlights is the location, right in the middle of the old town. Everything we wanted to visit was within a 10-minute walking distance. It was a great stay!

Everything was amazing. The spa is there, too. We didn't experience the spa but would have if we stayed longer, which we are considering to return some day. Merida is a beautiful mini city filled with friendly people. We had some traditional Yucatan cuisine about 20 minutes walking distance. They have a restaurant that was accommodating and not bad at all. Staff were friendly.

What to say, this hotel is fantastic. The room is big and full of comforts like very high quality and bio products to wash yourself, a hairdryer, a night-gown. Bed was one of the best I have ever slept on. The pool is nice and calm and offers some relax and escape from the hot weather. Breakfast was also fantastic and staff was very attentive and nice to us. We really felt pampered even if we stayed only one night.
