This family-run 4-star hotel is located in the centre of Bad Reichenhall. AVALON Hotel Bad Reichenhall offers a bar, air-conditioned rooms and free high-speed WiFi. This was my second stay at this hotel. The first stay was in October 2024. As usual, the staff was stellar. Every request and inquiry was acted upon with a cheerful smile and prompt efficiency. They delivered 100% especially when I needed it the most. The hotel is situated across the street from the Bad Reichenhall Bahnhof (train station). No worries since the hotel has excellent soundproofing. The public areas along with the room itself were immaculate. The bathroom had all the expected amenities including hair dryer, soaps and a towel warmer. The A/C runs well and can be adjusted. There is an Aldi supermarket and a store specializing in health products and cosmetics nearby. An Italian pizza restaurant is across the street (order the spinach and salmon pizza), and a Bavarian restaurant is a few blocks away. The Avalon is a family-owned and run business so you get that special attention you can’t get at a chain hotel. I highly recommend this property.

Set within Berchtesgaden National Park, at the foot of Watzmann Mountain, Berghotel Rehlegg offers traditional Bavarian accommodation. One of the top hotels I’ve stayed at. Incredible food, spa, staff, and location. Lots of hiking and skiing nearby. Close to Salzburg. The room and view is incredible.

It was beyond our expectations, everything was new, comfortable and clean, the dinner and breakfast were just perfect, the design and the family like place felt just magical and amazing, we enjoyed it very much and I wish we had more nights to spend there, definitely recommend the place
