This accommodation exceeded any expectations. The location was excellent - very close to town and sunset viewing spots, the harbor, etc. Can tell this was an experienced host in all decisions - there was travel info and guest reads, heat lamps, free parking right up to the door, plenty of kitchen amenities, large couch and comfortable living space. Great communication the entire time. I wish we stayed longer

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Red Door Strahan. The beautiful spacious terrace and grass area offered a place to relax and breathtaking water views. We were lucky to witness a really beautiful sunset on the first night. At night you can watch the stars. The house itself was modern and stylish with incredibly comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking, including plenty of condiments and thoughtful extras, which made preparing meals a breeze. Every corner of the house was beautifully decorated. We were only three people, so everything was perfect. However, if visiting with six people, sharing one bathroom is something to keep in mind :) The location couldn’t have been better, peaceful and scenic yet conveniently close to local attractions and amenities, and we felt very safe. This was truly a perfect getaway. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable time in Strahan

Situated overlooking the water, we stayed twice; once in the studio and the second time in the house. They are both clean and inviting. walk to the pub and to the jetty the tour boat departs from. The owners are lovely and friendly.

A bright, airy one bedroom cottage, beautifully restored/renovated with high ceilings. Rooms are particularly large, especially the living/kitchen area. Well equipped kitchen and decent bathroom. Large stand alone bench frees up cooking areas around the sink. Very quiet. Colourful garden with outdoor setting. IGA across the road and easy walk to town centre and wharves. Delightful hosts. Great value.
