Room was clean and spacious, as was the entire property. Saunas were great. Breakfast was rich and delicious. Location - directly across from Planai, terrific. Hotel provided a taxi to Banhof at the end of my stay - and the staff overall were so incredibly kind and helpful! Cannot recommend enough. If I’m ever back at Schladming I will not hesitate to stay here again.

Without a doubt the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered in more than 100 stays in different places throughout Europe. The place is very charming and perfectly equipped for a family of 5 looking to stay in the same apartment. It's an easy walk in ski-boots to hop on ski run 38 down to the Planai-West ski lift. Getting back is truly as ski-in experience without any walking required.

    Schladming is not interesting place, but the surroundings - yes. You can find a lot of attractions like ferrara, wander wegs, cycle routes, even rafting and places obligatory to visit: Dachstein Glacier, Planai, Reiter Alm (all supported by lifts). There are some places from the category "must see" like Riesach waterfall or Silberkar Gorge.

    I enjoyed the area but it was hard to find information about...

    I enjoyed the area but it was hard to find information about ski schools or guides online. We had some beginners with us and they were unable to ski the icier slopes at the bottom of the hill. I would have signed up for a guide/instructor for them if I was able to get more information. Also need more non ski activities in the area. We went to the Dachstein Glacier area and it was stunning!

    We liked the helpful staff and comfortable room with a balcony and a view of the mountains. The weather was bad but the staff gave us ideas about where to walk. A comfortable sitting room with a fire would have made it even better.

    A wonderful family resort in the east of the alps.

    A wonderful family resort in the east of the alps. Great for beginners. Lots of blue & red runs. Great night time sledging. Loads of restaurants on the mountains with very friendly service. Big portions but not cheap but then ahow me a skiing resort that is. Much cheaper than france and Switzerland and italy.

    Ski area consist of 4 hills to 1.800m, so everyone can find the slope which is fitting to him. On the hills, there was a pretty lot of restaurants or bars. There was a free parking place to leave a care in and drive with the lift directly to the entrance. When parking outside, you can put your skies on and by the snow go directly to the entrance to buy a tickets. Parking place was on asphalt so no dirt. The Schladming city is small but you can find there a restaurant for a quick dinner.

    One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in.

    One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in. The beauty of the hotel and the wonderful view of the mountain. The room number was 54, a studio with a balcony. It had all the necessary equipment for cooking in addition to all the kitchen utensils., They were very kind and helpful in everything. You need tourist places and attractions. If I come back again, it is impossible to stay in another hotel. Thank you.

    Sarah, the host met us when we arrived, showed us around. House is at excellent location, only few steps from the Preunegg Jet lift station. Apartment is on a second floor, with nice balconys, view to the mountain. Place is super quite and very clean. Kitchen is well equipped, ready to prepare anything. At the entrance there is a heated place to store your skis, boots, helmets, so no need to bring them up. All in all this is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for ski holiday in the Schladming area.

    Location in a quiet corner but very close to the ski lift (Reiteralm). The centre of Schladming can be reached in 10 minutes and the ski resort in Flachau in 21 minutes. The room had everything you needed, including a fridge and a hair dryer. The resort was very clean and tidy. Breakfasts OK, with a fairly large choice of dishes.

    Location is perfect, with a fantastic view. You can ski all the way to the house, and start your tour from the house. Taxi service from Schladming to the location of the apartment is quite cheap less then 40 euros for a van capable of transferring up to 8 persons.

    Free parking was great, big parkplatz opposite. Other places we have stayed at in Schladming charge you for each day for parking. Also, the locked (ski) room for mountain bikes was good to have. Room (209) was very big and spacious.
