Hotel was central to Ost train station (500 meters) and West city (700 meters. Hotel staff is excellent with any recommendation you ask. Especially Tea was very helpful with directions and restaurants. Mas in dining area was especially happy to provide ice each evening. The Hotel is very nice and breakfast was expansive and great.

Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer. We have spend majority of our time outdoors, enjoying nature. The ski resorts around Unterseen are amazing and within just 30 minutes you are on the slopes but without spending a fortune of money for a hotel, as it is usually the case when staying at a mountain resort.JJanSwitzerland - 10Scored 10

Stunning scenery in the mountains nearby. World class!!! So happy to have come. Better weather would have helped. Recommend Hüsi Biergarten heartily. Open and serving very late. Terrific staff. Good food. Good rates. Great, healthy salads too.

Though there's comment that host is not prompt in response but I'm grateful to get his/her response and pretty prompt in solving some of our issues: 1) allowing us to open door to drop our luggage as we arrived too early in the morning (though we are thoroughly shocked by what we see cos it have not be clean up) 2) resolving the socket issue as someone prior has damaged it

It is very convenient to the Interlaken West train station, but also a pleasant walk along the river to Interlaken Ost. We enjoyed restaurants in the Unterseen area, including Citta Vecchia, Barer and Stadthaus, as well as Schuh in Interlaken (our favorite). The room was exactly as advertised - small but comfortable. Other than that, the female landlord didn’t accept the card payment or Booking payment, she required to pay with bank transfer or cash which is really unexpected. Loved everything about No8, Jan and co have done an excellent job with this hotel. We used the kitchen for coffee and storing items in the refrigerator. Cooking pans were available but a little sparse, coffee was excellent. Great location and responsive host, wish we could have stayed longer!

My son is using manual wheelchair and found this apartment very comfortable with spacious and excellent accessible bathroom. The stuff was very helpful and kind. Clean, walking distance from the train station with best location to the old town and the river. Loved this place! We will definitely come back!

After driving for hours, it took us much longer to reach the beautiful town of Interlaken, and the host stayed up late and waited for us. The apartment, in the center of the town, was clean, safe and very accessible to shops and dining. The entire experience was unforgettable and we would definitely stay here again!!!
