I don't normally book guest houses, so don't know if this is typical. Apart from breakfast, I didn't see any staff. My key and check-in info was left at the front desk. My single room was a garrett, up several flights of narrow stairs, with a shared toilet; I never did locate a shower. There was a WHB though. Breakfast was very good though, served and I think cooked by the one person I saw there. The location is pleasant, close to beach, castle and harbour.

Arrived far later than expected, in the middle of the night. Very friendly night porter received us (came out of the hotel to meet us with light), also day staff very friendly! Room very clean, great shower, nice bed - really very good hotel. Breakfast was very nice - I ordered a small welsh breakfast and it was indeed small, but delicious.

The Pier Hotel is centrally located, 328 feet from the town center and 66 feet from the seafront.

Easy walking distance of the station. Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Perfectly located to see the town and beach front. Hosts were lovely and welcoming. Special mention for the efforts they went to when I left a necklace behind in my room. They made arrangements with me so I could get it back which meant a lot due to its sentimental value. Thank you!

Good location, staff were lovely, food was lovely. Couldn’t have the breakfast I had already paid for in the morning though as there was only one server and was taking too long when I had an appointment to get too.
