The property was excellent with very welcoming host. Situated in a beautiful location with beautiful views from the garden.
The apartment itself was very comfortable and had everything I needed. It included a kitchen with everything I could need and very comfortable bedrooms.
I was astonished that such a lovely place was available at this price.

The Spa Staff were very nice and the treatments were very relaxing.
Lovely peaceful location.
Plenty of places to visit and so close to Cardiff and Swansea but the small towns are pretty, worth a visit.
Lots of local amenities and an abundance of good restaurants.
Lots of things going on even out of season.

Changed quite a lot over the years. Plenty shops and resterants , Sumerset Arms do lovely meals and the staff are amazing! My husband recommends the ribs 😋
Port Talbot is easy to get around.
We would avoid going to the Twelve Knights the place has really gone down hill since we stayed last year especially the food.

Local Chinese was nice and they delivered.

The hotel looked a little run down on the outside - a bit like the area around it. Inside the hotel, however, it was clear that the staff and the facilities were excellent and everyone was friendly and helpful. The location, beside the park, the promenade and the beach, is wonderful. We found that there was lots to do nearby and we had a lovely time. Food in the hotel (breakfast and dinner) was adequate and there were lovely restaurants and bars close at hand.

A good location that allows visitors to travel to many places of interest across south Wales.
The steel works is a real eyesore with its belching out of emissions, especially if visiting the sea front.

Breakfast is an all you can eat full English buffet, and strong cofree, the perfect start to your day that carry you well into the afternoon. The beds are a dream, so soft, nice, and firm. Nice, big sized rooms, comfy furniture.

Staff very friendly, location was amazing. Port Talbot beach is amazing to walk along. Had a faulty shower in room 5 but messaged owners and they had a handyman to come and fix it, and whilst is was getting fixed they allowed us to use another room to have a shower, super fast wifi, very quiet after 9:30pm. What a beautiful family ran company, i planned for a 2 night stay but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to drive back home and they have offered 1 night free. Brilliant host
The hotel is right on the sea front. We had a sea view which was great. Room was comfy, and clean. The staff were very helpful. We could take our dog, although there is an additional charge of £10 per night for this. In a good spot for exploring this area of Wales. The main beach is great, and there is a doggy beach by the break water. Morrisons is 5 mins drive away. Quite a good shopping centre in Port Talbot, once we found it.
We had really big "joined" family rooms, nice space, fairly clean, not the sea view - but it was during a heatwave, so just what was needed. Very clean sheets and towels, TV is every room and a little fridge-freezer which was super handy to keep drinks and snacks cold. Hotel also has pool which would use if stayed longer. Fairly quiet over night, considering hotel is very close to the beach.

The bar was excellent with a wide range of drinks. Probably a better pub than hotel. Large car park made life easy for us. Good cooked breakfast but minimal alternatives other than instant pot porridge, packets of cereals (decent selection) but no fruit juices on display.
Location was perfect for us, across from the train station, near the choir hall. The hotel is working to upgrade, the hallways need help, but our room was comfortable and clean! The breakfast was not the usual British fair but a nice change with smoked fish and cheese toast etc. They would have sent us out for the usual but we were glad we stayed!
Railway station right on your doorstep. Breakfast was small buffet but was great. Bed was comfy and staff very friendly and were all helpful. The choice of food at lunch was excellent. Great value for money aswell. Port Talbot town is lovely wee place with some decent shops and the people were very friendly and chatty.
Booked originally to be near seniors golf . But the entertainment in the evening was an added bonus with the most agreeable food could not fault it.I would certainly highly reccomend Blancos

Beautiful location, you can enjoy a stunning mountain view while sitting outside or inside the restaurant. Clean and comfortable rooms. Close to the Afan Bike Park and biker friendly.
Opposite railway station. Quiet room, lovely staff. We ordered take away as no food on site. Breakfast is free at their sister hotel a short drive away ‘Blancos’ is its name.
