Far off the beaten path in Bali! As a tourist in Bali, I get overwhelmed by all the merchants and taxi drivers shouting about their merch/rides... Not an issue in Pemuteran! The vibe in Pemuteran is much more laid back and not once was I accosted to buy something or offered an unsolicited ride anywhere.

A great little fisherman village.
A great little fisherman village. Away from the hustle and bustle south Bali, very quiet and peaceful. With beautiful coral and reefs, good for snorkling and diving. There are quite a few restaurants in the village with big variety of choices. Strongly recommend Warung Setia, the tuna sashimi there is must to have.

Nice little beach town.
Nice little beach town. Many nice restaurants on the side streets off the main road. Great snorkeling at the beach or you can take a boat ride to the coral reef about 45 minutes away. To get around you can use a local taxi service if you don’t have a car.

Menjangan Island has the most pristine coral for snorkelling and diving.
The Island is a national park so protected. I saw scorpion fish octopus and swam with a turtle. The Beaches here range from white sand to black depending on where you go. It is a traveller's dream because it shows Bali the way it was 50 or so years ago. Beautiful and unspoiled by tourism. There are running tracks through the national park.

A quiet place to snorkel & escape the crowds. Great food options at Lakawi Bali, The Sage, Seita’s Warung & others. All within walking distance. WiFi is super spotty & slow , but there is a very cool digital nomad cafe “Pisaga”.
Definitely go snorkeling out to Menjangan island!
Best sunset spot is close to Pura Pabean. Need to drive there about 5 -10 minutes from the center of town.

one of the popular place in North Bali.pemuteran is ideal for those who want to go snorkelling,it is close to pulau menjangan,the excellent place for snorkelling.also if those who want to explore Bali national park in the west,staying in pemuteran is convenient,cuz not far from there.but most importantly,it has a beach,and also many good eateries around.pemuteran is not too busy,so staying here very quiet.
We spent a few days in the Camp Cabins which are a simple, minimalist form of accommodation. Located high on Sumberkima Hill provides an unique view of Pemuteran. The cottages are spacious, beds very comfortable, quality of materials used in the construction is solid. Newly built access road made our stay easy and pleasant. Staff always helpful.
An additional advantage are wonderful swimming pools and delicious cuisine of Senja and Suma restaurants. Highly recommended place.

The staff is fantastic, very attentive and kind and always went above and beyond to accommodate us.

We stayed for 11 nights and wish we could have extended even more. Pemuteran offers great diving and Sun Suko - although not beachfront - was the perfect place for us to relax after a day of diving.
We can't wait to return!
Facilities are wonderful, the staff is very helpful and as soon as we checked in they opened a WhatsApp group chat with all steakhouses from the reception, spa, activities manager, restaurant, house keeping and more. Everyone one is super responsive and willing to assist. the villa was to the point, quiet, beautifully designed. Food at the restaurants was much better than the average restaurant in Bali.
The homestay is absolutely amazing. It has large bedroom and bathroom, nice and clean swimming pool, and also comfortable bed. The staffs are also very kind, one of them gave free transport service to the festival in Pemuteran and offered some food to my wife and daughter. Can't say any nagative thing about the homestay with this good value.
The staff are really lovely and the room is super clean and generously sized. The facilities are well maintained compared to other places I've stayed in Pemuteran and the pool is a lovely way to cool down as alternative to the beach. The food that they serve for lunch and dinner is also delicious and affordable.
Amazing welcome and care, breakfast, lovely and cosy home. Absolutely great experience! They welcomed me with the drink, decorated bed, took care of me during my stay. We absolutely love this hotel, after doing mount bromo and mount ejin this was the perfect place to stop for a few days to relax. The room was big, the bed was comfy and the outdoor bathroom was lovely. The pool was also great. There are many restaurants nearby too🥰

The staff went above and beyond when we noticed we had a bag of gifts in the room. They arranged for a driver to drop off the item at our hotel in Sanur for a small fee. This was much appreciated.
Clean, comfortable, and quiet! Set back in from all the noise, so you don’t hear a thing. 5 minutes from the beach just down the same road and 5 minutes from warungs and restaurants. Price was very affordable and super nice staff.
Great central location is on the main road of Pemuteran. Very close to to restaurants, dive centers and beaches. Putu and her family takes very good care of their guests, making sure everything is satisfactory, with a smile.
