A beautiful old house with an amazing garden and very extensive grounds. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained.
The breakfast was copious, and it was served in a large hall with some very interesting historical maps and charts.
The property is located in the village, which was convenient for going for a walk.

The location, food, wine, service, and superior apartment exceeded our expectations. Want peace of mind, this is the place to be. No frills, just chill with your bottle of wine, I recommend the Melacce. Views are stunning are stunning over the vineyards and olive trees. Well-kept garden. Their food is as wholesome as it gets, with local products, and daily choices and if it is not there, the chef will whip you a nice, healthy lunch or dinner. We recommend trying the Porcini or fried Zucchini flower (depending on the season). Their olive oil is world-class and cannot be purchased in the supermarkets in Italy, so if you like it and you can take it along with you, our recommendation is to take it.

I felt this property was very mis-sold on the website with comments like onsite restaurant, hiking and biking at the doorstep....all of these had to be driven to off site not close by. Also they advertised WiFi, but this was non existent unless you sat in solitude by the modem in the main house, which also took 40mins to download theee documents! I needed to work a day on my holiday and their advertisement of WiFi was very misleading as I couldn’t work at all. No vineyard tours and it was simply noisy accommodation at nighttime with animals. (I love animals by the way but screaming donkeys outside my door at 3 and 5am is not my idea of relaxing)
Beautiful property, from the spacious, comfortable, clean and very beautifully decorated bedrooms to the lovely pool area, the gardens to sit in and the indoor conservatory, it was the best hotel we stayed at during our whole trip to Italy! The service was also exceptional, beyond anything we’ve ever experienced.
