This little old village is perched on a hilltop, surrounded by lush vegetation: vivid green orange and loquat trees carried abundant ripe fruits and the smell of flowers was just inebriating.
The facility is divided into smaller units: the reception, the restaurant and the rooms or studios are connected by red brick paths and stairs, where plenty of flowers added a touch of color.
The facility is clean as a whistle; the rooms are spotless. Equally clean was the swimming pool.
In my suite there was a sink and a kettle.
I was amazed by the kindness of the staff. The restaurant offers delicious locally grown food, and they accomodated my gluten free request.

Great place for travelers. It was very clean. We loved the atmosphere of the place. We slept well even though we could hear snoring from the apartment next to us. The A/C saved us from the heat!
The beach is the best in San Giorgio. People are pretty friendly and the bars have great coffee, granita and croissants!! Actually ate out for lunch & dinners more in Patti Marina.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a really peaceful place. The view from the terrace and pool was beautiful and the atmosphere was friendly. With the car we explored the area, which was worthwhile. We had an extensive and delicious fish dinner. In addition, we ended the dinner with dancing and karaoke. Too bad we could not attend the sicilian evening, but who knows a next time. Loved the location and the size of the property and how quiet it was and how can litrally walk out the door and you are practically like it says in the name ... "On the beach" Wasn't what I expected at all as was more a beach house than a hotel etc. But it was amazing and would definatly come back for a relaxing time. The owner Luca even came and met me at night upon getting near and showed me to the place from the village. Parking is good there too.
This house is in a really beautiful location. The road to the house is a typical narrow and curvy Sicilian mountain road. A wonderful landscape rewards the driver. We really enjoyed the view to Lipari islands and the very cozy terrace surrounded by olive trees. The house had everything we needed. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. We also appreciated their English skills because our Italian is lacking. Big recommendation!
Beautiful new apartment, great equipment, very practical and user-friendly. We didn't miss anything. Gioiosa Marea is a very nice place, where you can easy take a look into common life of local italian people (almost no one stranger was here). Everything is very close to the apartment.

Amazing place with wonderful view ! Seems like paradise…The staff is very friendly and caring, the food is extremely delicious, you can taste different types of Sicilian dishes here! You can see a lot of different trees/plants with fruits and vegetables in the territory of Santa Margherita. Absolutely recommended! It is incredible experience 🧡
Highly recommend this place. Perfect location for exploring Sicily. We went to Cefalu, Marinello lakes nature reserve, Milazzo, Tindari, Patti, Mt Etna, Taormina - all within easy reach by car.
Gorgeous authentic stay with friendly staff, amazing Sicilian food, and incredible views. Much much better than any touristy hotel in the built up areas.
