The breakfast buffet was one of the best hotel foods I’ve ever had. The onsen was spectacular and well kept. Services for rental car - ease of use was amazing.

Location was close to a great onsen. The room was cozy, the futons were very comfortable and the room had nice chairs, tables and useable cups. The art around the place was very interesting, and they had plenty of facilities suitable for almost all types of people, like a free stage concert, childrens room, dining room, etc.
The reception man was super nice and spoke a little english, but did most of the reception in japanese. Gave us a full tour of the facilities and was up late to respond to our queries. We could also purchase a few cans of alcohol near the front desk. The receptionist gave us free ice as well. It was only a 30-40 minute drive to the ski resort we went to, and was much cheaper than the places close to the ski resorts.
The room heater was warm and we could dry our small clothes on it. There was also a room to dry bigger things and store snowboards it looked like but we didnt end up using it. The reception heater was very warm.
Im very happy to stay in a traditional japanese building like this.

We were very impressed by the enthusiasm of the guides at the Masaaki Iinuma’s Museum ! Everyone should visit this place because of the importance of what he has contributed to the aviation history !
Nature-viewing is also enjoyable, in summer the sunflower fields were amazing!

To visit Alpine route I overnight stayed at Omachi Onsen-kyo.
Form Tokyo to Nagano by express bus and from Nagano to Omachi onsengyo by ALPICO bus. Omachi Onsen-kyo is a small town and famous for hot spring. I visited public hot spring bath near bus station and it was good with open air bath.
The best things about this hotel are (1) the onsen which is located on a rooftop terrace, (2) the staff that went out of their way to make our stay excellent and (3) the traditional Japanese style room (although the thin futon could have been more comfortable for people who are not used to this type of bedding). There is free (iced) coffee, tea and water all day in the spacious lobby with comfortable couches. The hotel is in a quiet area and our room commanded a very nice view of the river and foresty and hilly landscape.
The perfect stop-off after crossing the Alpine Route from Toyama. Baggage-forwarding service from Toyama delivers directly to hotel. Spotlessly clean, located close to forest, very tranquil - spa hotel with own onsen - all traditionally Japanese, so if you want the Japanese experience, not the 'standard western hotel' experience, this is perfect. "Western-style" dinner options are limited in town, but there is a beautiful family Ramen restaurant nearby. Helpful and accommodating staff.
The staff were really kind and allowed us to leave our luggage there when we went on our round trip up Tateyama. Onsen was comfy for 2 people and the tatami beds were comfortable too! Good value for money in Omachi and super close to the station.
The staff is very kind and approachable. The place is clean and quiet. They hve lots of amenities e.g. entertainment room, massage bed, ofuro etc. The rooms are japanese style type. Highly recommended place to stay in Omachi Nagano
We liked the hospitality. Everyone was very nice and their English was very good as well! They helped us out with accepting and forwarding our luggage to our next destination. We loved the hotel onsen, especially the outdoor one.
Highly recommend!!!! The staffs are so friendly and always happy to help us to solve any problems. The room is comfy and clean, and the hotel offers pick-up service from Hakuba station, feel free to contact the hotel.
Breakfast is good. Normally, breakfast time is 7am. As our requested, the breakfast is early in 6:45 am. The hotel provides laundry service which is only 300 yen. Room is clean. Hot spring pool is good, but is small.
a very traditional Japanese style room and Japanese style breakfast too which is a different experience from staying in a hotel. near the train station to Alpine Route
We had a very relaxing stay in this hotel. staff are very nice and helpful. the onsen is great. the dinner has a variety of choices and my little one approves it :)
The breakfast buffet was one of the best hotel foods I’ve ever had. The onsen was spectacular and well kept. Services for rental car - ease of use was amazing.
