The room and bathroom were very clean. The stuff was very polite and helpful. Also there were a lot of options for breakfast and everything we have tried was very tasty. The big uniqueness of this hotel is the place it is - on the fjord which you can see from the main big window of the reception and restaurant place.

So many things...The apartment (perfect). The farm. The turkeys. The very old barn. The small town. The local diner. The aurora...beautiful in the clear, bright October night. The windows in the apartment are perfectly situated. Stayed here twice. On my way north, and on the way back south. Met some people at Kongsvinger Festning. They (Norwegian) have never seen the aurora. Showed the photos. And the booking info ;) Recommend. PS: fresh eggs and coffee.
