Offshoot location amidst multiple beautiful hills with many trails. Ruins very friendly relaxed and forthcoming. He offered us some maracujá fruits that were growing in front of the house. Beds were big and every room had an extra single bed to accommodate children.

We stayed in a bungalow Grifo, which was divided into 2 parts: an entrance hall and a bedroom, in addition to a double bed there was a bunk bed for children. The room was clean and bright.
The view from the room was amazing. To each bungalow goes its own path, so that visitors from other bungalows will not walk in front of your windows.
The territory is quite large and well maintained, in the main building there is a restaurant, viewing terrace.
The spa area under the restaurant has a room with Jacuzzi, hamam (really hot, It would be better if there was a cold water tap in the hamam) and sauna (each room with panoramic windows).
The breakfast is good and varied.
A few kilometers from the hotel by car stunning trails down to the river.

The location is very good for the area and the property is recently renovated. Protected parking area was good . Other guests seemed to be enjoying the pool on the very hot day we were there.

I spent most of the time in the Moinho da Fadagosa windmill, but what I saw of the local area was charming, genuine and untouristy. Though not an ideal destination for the hardcore vegetarian or vegan, if you want to eat out. In some areas the countryside is still recovering from a forest fire in 2017 so it's not lush woods (yet) but still full of nature and wildlife.
