A tranquil retreat to connect with nature away from the touristy areas of Portugal and only a 1.5 hour drive from Algarve. We stayed in a lake view room with a balcony that allowed us to see stunning sunrises and flocks of birds. It was so relaxing to cool off on the balcony at night and in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunset view from the pool while swimming and/ or laying on a laying chair sipping on a cold beer. The hotel is surrounded by a charming garden where we were allowed to pick fruits from the trees. There is also a convenient and safe lake pool to swim in the pure lake water. We enjoyed the bountiful and delish breakfast on one of the terraces overlooking the lake. This would be an ideal place for writers and those looking to disconnect from daily life stressors and disruptions. Madelyn was a friendly, welcoming, responsive and accommodating host .

Craverial Farmhouse is a beautiful spot. Pools galore, lots of animals and vegetable gardens. Our apartment was in the back and had a private pool for just a few houses which was a huge bonus.

I liked the room size, the swimming pool and staff was very friendly. If you are looking for a quiet property and are willing to be isolated in the nature, it is a good place to stay. We had dinner one day, and the food was very good, although I found it expensive, since it is limited to one dish only.
