Very clean, simple, basic, but enough room to unload gear and move around. "Ella" was very kind and helpful. Our Google map did not get us to the location but they answered the phone quickly and directed us to the correct location.

Old hotel with old equipment but everything was working and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Good quality towels. Soundproofing was good. Free parking in the hotel basement. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We did not pay extra for our child sharing a room with us.
It was a wonderful stay, the architecture of the building is realy worth praising, most modern hotels are boring, this one is not! It looks and feels luxurious. Beautiful staircase and night lighting made it look not just modern but kinda futuristic.
The room was spacious, the bed was huge. The shower was hot the cleaning and breakfast ladies are very polite. WiFi worked. Great view from the 6th floor and a working elevator.

Great location for the Camino, right in the centre of Sao Joao da Madeira. Hotel has a certain faded grandeur, but room was clean and comfortable.
