The location was amazing if you are looking for a quiet getaway. All the riverside facing rooms offer outstanding views of the bridge and the river where you can see birds, sea lions, and massive ships pass by throughout the day and night. If you are looking for something close to downtown where all the shops, restaurants, and other attractions are this place isn't in walking distance. However, the riverside trolley stops by the hotel and is inexpensive to ride. The hotel also provides a complimentary vintage Rolls Royce to shuttle you around town in. The rooms were very large and the bathrooms were great and massive. Our favorite part was the small balcony and large windows facing the river so you could always see that amazing view no matter where you were in the room, even the bathroom! Breakfast was good, with a made to order omelet station in the morning, otherwise it was a standard hotel breakfast situation. They do offer free freshy backed chocolate chip cookies after 7pm! They also offered us a $25 coupon to the hotel bar each night of our stay which was really nice.

We decided to do a touristy weekend, came over form Portland. We found the perfect breakfast spot, very inexpensive and SO good! The Riverwalk Restaurant, the biscuits and gravy are to die for. Our favorite seafood place is South Bay Wild Fish House. We love walking the streets and going into all the groovy little shops. Took the Underground Tour this time which was so fun! Visited the Astoria Column which was so interesting and the scenery from the ground and the top of the column was breathtaking. The climb up the column had me out of breath so caution if you have medical issues or are just plain out of shape like me. My grandson and I went bowling at Lower Columbia Bowl when a beachside fire was out of the question for grandpa lol . Had a blast! We love Astoria!!

Love the antique and unique shops on Commercial in downtown Astoria. Toured the Flavel House, which I definitely recommend. Found a funky sportsbar called the MerryTime which serves giant juicy burgers. Love the sound of the seals and the maritime feel of Astoria.

Astoria is a busy place, lots to do.
Astoria is a busy place, lots to do. We went down to spend time with young grandchildren and took a good friend and his son. Booking.com advertises This motel at $60 a night and it was $175 a night so we could not stay as long as we would have liked. I think misrepresentation like this is a crime and I felt cheated.. The motel blamed the price change on Booking.com.

The hotel location was super.
The hotel location was super. We were within walking distance of a few restaurants. We ate at the Bridgewater Bay Bistro only a couple of minutes walk. The fresh caught halibut was wonderfully tasty. We also ate at a local Mexican restaurant, El Tiapatio, (10-minute walk) from hotel. The restaurant was colorful and food and drinks were great. Many locals were also dining there. The riverwalk is directly in front of the hotel. There is some construction on it, so it was not as accessible as it might have been. The Trolley is running only from 1-4 pm. Museums are a 30-35 minute walk from the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the Heritage Museum with history of Astoria.
Front desk staff is really nice. Check-in is a breeze, and we loved the keyless entry. The retro room decor was cute. Fridge and microwave were nice to have, even if we didn't use them. Bed and pillows were remarkably comfortable! Towels were great quality too. The location is excellent, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Most hotels in the area are overpriced, so we appreciated how inexpensive our stay was. I would recommend for an overnight stay or two nights at the most.
We booked this hotel while on our road trip and it was a perfect stop. The staff was very welcoming, the hotel is cool and trendy, the beds are comfortable, the homemade granola at breakfast was delicious. Upon check in we were told the hotel has an agreement with the nearby bike shop and cruiser bikes are free for one hour. It was great! I would recommend the bike path in the direction opposite to the bridge, much more scenic and quieter. Good for walking, running and/or biking.
Spent a couple of nights here back in 2016, and came back because we liked it. Staff was very friendly, room wasn't too large but the nice view totally made up for that (all their rooms have marina view as well as a view towards the Astoria-Megler Bridge...). Room was very clean, there's a microwave as well as a fridge; the bed was comfy, bathroom nice. Pretty good above average breakfast as well. Great place overall, would stay here a third time, if we're ever back this way.
I love this hotel and book for special occasions, birthdays, and anaverys. The staff is always helping and kind to us and makes us feel special when we arrive. The room is always clean and beautiful. A short walk upstairs, and you'll be on the roof looking at all of Astoria beautiful views. This hotel is walking distance to everything downtown. A bunch of Brewery's my favorite Fort George. Breakfast in the morning.
The motel is right off the main highway, and regardless of the room you get, there will be traffic noise. However, our room, with a kitchenette, also had a few of the Columbia River, which was nice. The motel is also located in a part of town, which makes it easy to drive to a lot of places, and is only a 10-15 minute walk to most parts of Astoria.
The building and the room have an incredible charm! They did a very good job in keeping the style of the time through the decor as well. They added useful features like a minibar with a coffee machine and minifridge. I would definitely stay there again if we pass through Astoria.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Took the time to talk us through many different recommendations for things to do nearby, and taught us all about Astoria. We had a great time at the brewery they recommended. Also, though small, the room was comfortable and warm.
The hotel is so creatively beautiful and loved hearing the sea lions below us. The staff was fantastic, and the restaurant/ lounge area had amazing views. The room was clean but was very loud. I was on the first floor facing the boardwalk (opposite of water).
We were pleasantly impressed with everything. From the great welcoming service from the front desk, our room was very comfortable with very comfortable beds and the view was fantastic.
This hotel is in a great location close to everything.
Breakfast had a good selection, it was a typical hotel breakfast.
Room was very clean and comfortable.
Front desk staff was helpful.
Water front location on the water front path was really nice.
This property offers uniqueness. It’s for sure not the cookie cutter type property of big chain hotels. The views from our room were very nice, especially the Astoria bridge at sunset.
Cheap rooms, but very clean and convenient for walking downtown. It is a very cute older hotel. We hit up Astoria a couple times of year, and we would definitely stay here again.
