The availability of a pool and hot tub was nice. Albeit, they were both very old. The furniture in the pool area was really nice!
The location was great. They are doing Reno’s to the lobbby and it’s going to look spectacular.

The location was great to go into town and RMNP. It was so relaxing to sit outside next to the river after a long day of hiking. We even had an elk come up and hang out on the river one night. Room had everything we needed and felt like home. Our quick weekend getaway was able to give us the recharge we needed. Definitely plan to return!

Room was great, everything was clean with adequate supplies...towels etc. Got to try out the hot tub, which was huge, during the snow storm that passed through and a very nice diversion.

Such a nice place to stay while in the Rockies!
We looked at a bunch of other places in the area on Booking.com and glad we chose this one. Trailborn definitely has a fresh and fun vibe, and is really well maintained.
Rooms were warm, and the marketplace had a bunch of local products we used during our stay.
Hotel staff was warm and friendly, rooms were great and well appointed, we loved the giant fire in the back patio!
Front desk was helpful in booking a small trip into the park and recommending local restaurants in the area.
On our last day we were delighted to see Elk walking down just by the parking lot across town!

My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather was sunny, yet cold and quite windy. There was an almost 20 degree Farenheit temperature difference when coming from Denver. The drive from Denver to Estes Park is an awesome experience in itself. From Lyon, you start to drive up on a windy road surrounded by mountains on both sides. It goes from 5000ft to 7500ft. The drive is very beautiful and once you climbed up Rt. 36, you start to descend just a bit and then, you come around a curve and there lays, in a valley, Estes Park with a beautiful lake, surrounded by snow tipped mountains. Estes Park is a small town with a main street, lots of unique stores, a unique looking movie theater, and many restaurants. There is a Safeway and Dollar Tree and I don't think that there are any other grocery stores there. Estes Park is also very close to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park and the home of the famous "Stanley" Hotel, which was used in the movie "The Shining". We also drove around in the surrounding area and found a few great roads that lead to parks and trails. I have truly enjoyed my 4 day stay in Estes Park and hope to be back soon.

Off-season, a great mountain town next to the Rocky Mountains. Enough stuff to do and keep busy for our trip! Ate at Rock Inn, Casa Colina and Hunters Chop House, all fun places. Getting around was pretty easy off-season, though there's a large parking lot near the entrance of Elkorn street.

Estes Park is a popular tourist destination next to Rocky...
Estes Park is a popular tourist destination next to Rocky Mountain National Park, RMNP, in north central Colorado. It is in a stunning location. The downtown is quite touristy and in the summer, parking is difficult but doable. Estes Park is a destination in itself but surrounded by a larger destination- RMNP. In one day we saw mountain goats, deer and a herd of elk. The elk winter in Estes Park itself. The animals are magnificent but also a bit troublesome for the residents. But what a problem to have.
We loved 4 Seasons Inn!!! We loved how close 4 Seasons was to everything! It was only about a 7 minute drive into Rocky Mountain National Park and 4 minute drive to the town! The room and bed was so cozy. We loved the fireplace. The views were incredible. The river right outside our door was so beautiful. We found that the fishing was the best at the hotel, right in our backyard. The owner was so kind and friendly. We felt right at home. We will definitely be back and we will be telling all of our friends and family that it is THE BEST!
The staff was very friendly, nice & attentive. The room was clean, and amenities were as advertised. It was super close to all the fun in Estes Park, even though it isn't on the main drag. The room had a large fridge and microwave. The property is very pet friendly as well. We stayed in the winter when there was 3 feet of snow on the ground, but it looks like they have a lot of amenities that would be fun in the summer months. Overall, we had a great 2-night stay.
The property was lovely and well kept, location was perfect for what my daughter and I had planned while staying in Estes Park. Loved the designated parking in front of our cabin, being on the river and our cabin was stocked well with everything we needed. Check out during Covid was a no person contact communication which was very easy to use. Our overall experience was a joy and we would love to come back.
Never been to Colorado before and chose Estes Park and found Murphy's Resort to fit expectations and budget. Such a wonderful place to see the snow cap mountains right out your door. Would like to have had more for breakfast such as eggs and sausages, otherwise the stay was Wonderful to Celebrate Our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Murphy's Resort !
Fantastic location to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park, and the surroundings were very pretty. Staff were friendly, condo was spacious and clean, with TV and board games included which is great when travelling with friends. Ample amenities and facilities within the room to prepare food before and after a day of hiking.
Super-friendly managers, adorable dog in the hotel lobby, free cookies, all around character. Really cozy room with an electric fireplace. Mountain stream running right by the place. Very quiet in the winter, almost nobody around, no traffic noise. Big hot tub out front. Great coffee in the room. Would gladly stay again.
Beautiful location within a stroll of town. The front of house team are friendly and helpful, the housekeeping team are thorough. The hotel’s location by the river is delightful and the little touches make it homely, lots of seating by the river, popcorn and toasted marshmallows in the evenings.
The Sonnenhof B&B was the perfect place to stay in Estes Park. It was in a great location to reach the RMNP as well as downtown Estes Park with all of its restaurants and shopping venues. The breakfasts served at the Sonnenhof were the very best in both quality and quantity!
Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a good continental with surprisingly good southern-style gravy for the biscuits. My travel companion also noted this. The room was clean. Water was hot. It's Estes Park so good location is a given in such a small town.
I loved the close location to Rocky Mt Nat'l park and to Estes Park. I also loved the wild life close by ( elk near the hotel). The Rock Inn was great too! Nice small touches, like snacks and providing laundry detergent! Staff were super nice
The pool is super warm NOT freezing cold like most pools. Very pleased with the pool. Also the game room was fabulously fun and many hotels don't have stuff like that. This is a super economical property that is highly recommended.
The property was well-maintained and in a great location in Estes Park. Our room was fantastic with great views. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent value - we'd definitely stay again!
Big comfortable room with direct access from car and upstairs views with balcony. Great location in Estes Park close to visitors centre and shops. Pond with elk visiting in the evening. Easy simple breakfast.
The location on the river was beautiful and the cabin was clean and spacious. The wildlife was abundant! Highly recommend this property. Close to many restaurants and Estes Park.
Great place to visit. The hotel is a large complex of buildings with cabins, apartments, condominiums and a lot of things to do. Very close of Rocky Mountain. Great Breakfast.
