The glacier and the nature trails around the mountains were very nice. There were many nice restaurants, however they were fairly pricey. Juneau is a very unique place not only because of the Gold rush history, but because it's also the state capitol, so there's a lot to see and do! There's hiking, biking, kayaking, whale watching, a tram that takes you up Mt. Roberts, city tours and MENDENHALL Glacier!! SPECTACULAR! Both sea plane and helicopters going to the top. Juneau is a seafood lovers dream!! Fresh king crab, halibut, you name it... Yum! The city is clean and mostly flat. The sidewalks are even and easy to walk on. I enjoy going to Juneau. I'm a sucker for souvenir shops. I just love them. My husband doesn't get it but I just have to go in them! I have never spent more than 2 nights in Juneau,, waiting for the ferry. The Glacier is nice. I haven't really done much in Juneau other than shopping and the Glacier.Guest review byOstrom
