I enjoyed the beach and I also enjoyed shopping at the little stores in Hammock Village. I also had a wonderful time experiencing the local cuisine. Great food and excellent customer service at Hanser House!! They serve the BEST key lime pie I ever tasted.

Quiet, peaceful & a slower pace. None of the noise & frantic pace of Myrtle Beach; plenty of great restaurants nearby!!!!You must visit Brookgreen Gardens just up the road and plan to stay for hours.

Room was accurate but the towels and rags was dirty thank god I brought my own’ Wi-Fi is poor it doesn’t work’ air conditioner wasn’t working properly that me & my children was sweating in our sleep when we never turned ac off. The breakfast is horrible’ it start way too early and end too early’ they need a whole new breakfast menu. My family only ate breakfast one night out of the five days we stayed.

There was a lot of stores and restaurants available with it not being too packed with people. The overall vibe of Pawleys Island was peaceful yet lively. Lord willing, I look forward to visiting again and I would have no problem with recommending this city to anyone.

I am currently retired and have been visiting Pawleys Island since I was about 5 years old. If you desire peace and quiet, a relaxed pace and extremely friendly who serve excellent food, this is your destination. !!!

I have been going to Pawleys Island for years. I have stayed in several different hotels there. I have eaten in a number of restaurants there and the food has always been good. I have no complaints about Pawleys Island or I wouldn't keep going back.
Restaurant was being renovated so we went to the sister hotel for breakfast and it was fantastic. The room was more than i expected. It was perfect for our weekend couples get away. Enjoyed the ocean right from the porch without the wind and sand. I was looking for a relaxing time and that's what I got. Loved the room 101
The ladies who were in charge of the breakfast were impeccable! They kept the dining room clean, the coffee full, and the food fresh. They were positive, friendly and very welcoming. The atmosphere that they presented is unmatched in many hotels. Every single employee that we met had a great attitude!
1.) Remotes for TV were in an(SANITIZED) bag advising you it was clean... Awesome Idea !
2.) Pool was open !!! And Clean !!
3.) Shawn (front desk receptionist) was great. Very attentive to our checknin and prior reservation requests

Short distance to the beach. Pool on site was wonderful. Lazy river was excellent. Hotel room was perfect for wat we needed. The breakfast was outstanding!! Next time we’ll get the package with breakfast included!! Love this resort!!
This hotel was very clean and pleasant, helpful staff were always available. great location, too. The continental breakfast offerings was definitely the best we’ve ever had anywhere.
