We loved all the high end touches…the coffee and teas for self brewing, the soaps, lotions, etc., the cold water waiting for us in the frig. We loved the afternoon cookies and the breakfast cookies and chia pudding. The fresh squeezed OJ was terrific too. The bed was very comfortable too. We also liked the fire pits in the evening….so cozy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We also liked how close the property is to the Ventura Pier.

I normally do not write reviews however this hotel is disgusting. The staff upon check in were rude and less than hospitable. The room smelled heavily of mold and dog urine. The bathroom sink and tub had rust rings around the basin. The bathroom walls were filthy with black dirt marks from previous guests including the front door to the room. Upon addressing the concerns with the front desk staff, they did not seem to care and advised me to contact the third party booking website for any assistance. There are plenty of affordable hotels in the area that offer better accommodations than this hotel, please stay away.

Ventura is one of the first beach towns you can stay in as you drive north from Los Angeles. Nice pier and harbor area and it competes with Oxnard just to the North as an easy weekend get away from Los Angeles.

Clean and commfortable place to stay if all you need is a basic lodging with some kitchen facilities. Not in a very good location, and the kitchen was very poorly stocked, but it served our purpose as an relatively inexpensive place to stay while visiting Channel Islands National Park.

I like Ventura.
I like Ventura. We usually stop in Oxnard for food but this was our fist time staying the night in Ventura. It is more affordable than Ojai and Santa Barbara. I would visit with my family again. The Beach House restaurant on the pier was great too.

Although the city is bisected by a busy freeway and a rail line, it's a great place to shop, walk along the beach, and as a more reasonably priced place to stay for visits to Santa Barbara and Ojai.

We went for the International Heirloom Exposition.
We went for the International Heirloom Exposition. It was fantastic!!! If you like to garden, I highly recommend it. Then we got to experience a little bit of Ventura. Their downtown/midtown gets a little crazy for us, but we found a ton of other eating options. I highly recommend Fresh Grill Ventura @ Main St & S. Santa Rosa St. Their breakfast bowl is the best!!! Fresh veggies and so tasty.
This is a well maintained older motel at the junction of the 101 Freeway and Victoria Road. It's a place for travelers to stay or work crews to base. The manager let me run extension cords to charge our Prius Prime - something not do-able at pricier places with no accessibke outdoor outlets. No pool, no workout room. We did not check for breakfast here. Considering Ventura's many hotel options, Victoria is a decently priced, comfortable place for travelers or people needing a base for adventures.adventures
Proximity to beach, Promenade, downtown Ventura, and family.
Even though the hotel is undergoing exterior renovations the rooms, hallways, reception area were well-appointed. The presence and convenience of a breakfast room with a morning meal, plus late afternoon/early evening snacks and beverages, were very appreciated perks. Ninety percent of the reception staff was truly welcoming and willing to accommodate us throughout our stay. The housekeeping staff was efficient, friendly, and professional.
I have been travelling for 3 weeks on a motorcycle so I have stayed at around 15 hotels so far. This one was by far the worst, the room has obviously had homeless and druggies staying in it, there was burn marks on the filthy sink, no coffee machine provided, the room was desperately in need of repair, it was dirty. Outside during the night I could hear voices and activity going on. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, I have had far better rooms for a third of the price of this place.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming - we arrived late in the evening, and there was a loud, whining, machinery noise in the rrom from the jacuzzi pumps outside. We were offered another room but it wasn't necessary as the jacuzzi was being shut off for the evening and the room was perfectly okay otherwise.
The hotel is a little dated, but clean, and the service is excellenty
first off, I thought I was renting at inn on the beach vs shores inn. i was super upset at first but once I got there it was totally fine. The location was perfect, maybe not on the beach but only a block away. Also the liquor store across the street was more like a convenience store and anything we needed was steps away. The shower pressure was AMAZING!!!
I loved this place! The room was sparkling clean and beautifully designed. I loved being able to park right in front of my room. I also enjoyed the healthy succulent plant boxes in front of every room. It's clear that the new management is very attentive to all the details, giving the property a very special feel. I will return every time I'm in Ventura.
This was a great Motel 6. The staff were all wonderful. The room was clean and tidy. Only thing lacking was a bed side lamp. The pillows were not great, but I have stayed at 5 star hotels that had horrible pillows too. It was close to the beach and easy on/off the 101 freeway. Will stay here again if I'm in Ventura in the future.
Decent motel, nothing special. The location is good with walking access to the beach and good places to have a diner or drink. The driving location is good as well, as it is close to 101 freeway. At some moment I thought it would be too noisy due to road outside the motel, but everything was good with closed window.
Staff was exceptional and very friendly. Hotel was very clean. They are undergoing renovation. When renovation is complete it should be beautiful. Walking distance to Old Town Ventura.
The room was large and very clean. The location for going to the Ventura Harbor was great. It was a good deal compared to the expensive hotels closer to the harbor.
The location of the hotel is convenient to restaurants within walking distance and also to the State Beach. There is easy access to grocery shopping and downtown.
Great location near the Mission and the historic downtown, now a pedestrian zone. If first time to Ventura don't miss the views from Sierra Cross on a clear day.
The room was so comfortable. Beds so comfortable. It's walking distance to the beach. Free parking. Driving distance to Downtown Ventura and restaurants.
