Muri Beach Hideway offers a tropical island escape, with a variety of self-contained accommodations options. We had a lovely two week stay at MBH. The room exceeded our expectations. We especially loved the setup of the verandah/decking area where we sat most days (even during a few rainy days). We also appreciated the servicing of the room each day.

Located in Rarotonga, within a few steps of Turangi Beach and a 14-minute walk of Matavera Beach, Ocean Escape Resort & Spa provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi... A beautifully designed & presented resort in a quiet, peaceful location. The pool area is superb & the villa we stayed in was spotlessly clean, comfortable, & well equipped. The owners seem to have thought of everything guests would need for an enjoyable stay. A great feature was the automatic soft blue night lighting in the villas which illuminated the stairs & bathroom. Easy on the eyes & no worries about falling over in the dark. The owners & staff were friendly & helpful. Plenty of food provided for breakfast, staff were happy to adjust if you needed a bit more of this & less of that. Completion of the on site Tapas bar & restaurant will be a welcome addition. The beach is not suitable for swimming, but the benefit of this was having the sandy foreshore & outdoor seating area pretty much to ourselves most of the time. Muri is just down the road if you want to swim in the sea & enjoy the company of others.

Mama Taras Bungalows offers comfortable accommodations, in a quiet area of Muri, in Rarotonga. It provides free private parking. Very spacious and clean. Had air conditioning, had a washing machine, loved the location! The shower was awesome!

Tai Roto Bay offers spacious, authentic accommodations located on its own private beach on the southern tip from Ootu beach. It is a beach front property and safe to swim at all tides. Cheran and her mum, were super hosts and managers of the Tai Roto Bay Resort. We were greeted at the airport with big smiles and beautiful personalities. Arriving at our beachfront villa took our breath away at the sight of the lagoon right out front. Welcome to Paradise. Villas was gorgeous, clean and bed super comfy with a yummy breakfast delivered daily and very private. Great local cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

Located directly on the beachfront, The Passage Villas is set on 1 acre of gardens and beach. It offers a swimming pool and free tropical breakfast on your first morning. Beautiful views over the ocean, very private villas so felt like it was just us there! Svein and Michele were so hospitable, made loads of recommendations and help out where they could

Rarotonga Daydreamer Escape is 2 minutes’ walk from the beach and offers spacious apartments with a private patio with outdoor furniture and pool views. The unit we stayed in was spacious and has a beautiful view to the well manicured tropical garden and a pool.We felt extremely relaxed and found the stay more than pleasant. Each unit is independent has lots of privacy and not noisy at all. Rob is a fantastic local guide with great insights of the island. He was also very helpful and provided us bikes and snorkeling gear. If you are like us, being the first time on the island, remember to book a car/scooter well in advance. Otherwise, traveling to the town center could be a bit far by bike.

Set in tropical grounds, Kia Orana Villas and Spa is located in Atupa village in Rarotonga. Guests have access to a breakfast cafe, day spa, salt water swimming pool and 3 spa pools. The property is clean and beautiful and Sane is a wonderful hostess.

Matriki Beach Huts provide absolute beachfront accommodations on the sunset side of the island. You can enjoy snorkeling from the beautiful white sand beach right at the front of the property. Great accommodation and staff! Loved swimming to the pontoon every day and filming the marine life!
