The most amazing location and view, and we were only staying in one of the basic rooms! Particularly loved the two-room style with bedroom + sink area then a living room with couch and tv. Really great value for what you get!! Shared bathroom was pretty clean, great bar and restaurant downstairs, staff were nice. Best swim I’ve ever had at the beach down below!!
Blue Dolphin is on the Clarence River in Yamba, a 1.5 hour drive south of Byron Bay. It is surrounded by lush grounds and has a private boat ramp and parking.

The kids had such an amazing time- we spent most of it in the pool (the heated pools with swim up bars absolutely made the trip). Blue dolphin is in perfect location- walking distance to some take away food and coffee and a super short drive into town and to the beaches and other attractions
Just 2 minutes’ walk from Yamba Bay, The Carmel Yamba features a tennis court, an outdoor pool and barbecue facilities. Set in tropical landscaped gardens, it offers rooms with flat screen smart tv..

The hotel is in a very good location, walking distance to the town and also to the beaches. It is just across the road from the river where the footpath runs all the way to both. It was a quiet and comfortable room and the owners were very friendly. The pool area looked very nice but we didn't get a chance to use it. We enjoyed our stay here.

When i visited Yamba is was hammering down with rain which i guess is unusual. It made my short stay a bit bland as the beach was off and the town was very wet. However, i noticed two very busy restaurants, a nice little collection of shops and takeaways. a few drinking holes etc. Id say when the sun is shining it looks a 100% more appealing.
Im told the surfing is great but not my thing. wortha visit if youre a surfer or just travelling up the coast. lots of waterways, pelicand, wildlife.
Its just off the highway so easy access and when youre there you feel like youre in the middle of nowhere so that works!
Worth a trip for 2-4 days in my opinion.

Yamba is the most delightful place, I would live there if I could. Everything is so convenient. Restaurants are great, and I very rarely come home without a new pair of shoes - the shoe shop is excellent.

Yamba is lovely, beaches, fishing, golf, there is plenty to do . Be very careful where you stay , that is the key. The sands is great, be wary of the Cove, please note they are owned by the same organisation, I am just being honest.

I only stayed overnight on my way from QLD to VIC so didn't get to see much of the town. It seemed like a nice little seaside town though and would have loved to be able to stay longer to explore it.

Thank you.
Thank you. We stayed in the apartment and loved every minute. You have thought of all the little extras . Would have stayed longer but already booked. 100% we will be back. Very quick to respond, helpful and pleasant to deal with. ❤️
Our stay at the Tequila Sunset apartment was absolutely perfect! The host has gone above and beyond to include everything you need to ensure you have a comfortable stay, it literally felt as though we were at home. The location is amazing with everything within walking distance, and it was easy to park just out front of the building. Communication was easy and we thought the snacks and note were a really nice touch. Thanks for having us, we highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy their stay in Yamba :) x
Surf Yamba is my new favourite hotel on the east coast of Australia. I got a free upgrade to the Main Beach Deluxe Room on level 1 which was out of this world beautiful. The interior design is luxurious and the views of the Yamba Lighthouse and coastline are breathtaking. I was lucky to have some great weather and spent a day lounging and swimming on the roof deck. I will be back asap to this special place. Thanks Gary for the 5 star hospitality.
Location was great; very close to the beach and to the lighthouse and the Pacific Hotel (excellent views!). It wasn't hard to walk into town to the cafes and restaurants either (there were a couple of steep hills, but no issue for us and our kids). The 2-bed apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay, plus it was on the bottom level, with very easy access to the car parking.
The location was fantastic. Views of the Ocean from the deck on the main floor and the Main bedroom, Even better views of the ocean and hinterland on the rooftop deck. This was a great space to have a barbeque(which is provided) A short walk to the beach and the shops and restaurants. A flat walk to the Pacific hotel and 2 or 3 restaurants opposite. The beds were comfortable and so was the lounge.
The location was great and the house had plenty of space for us all. We ate mostly at the accommodation and used all the kitchen facilities as well as the laundry. It has just about everything you need which is fab!
The staff at First National were great at handling everything and were always friendly when I spoke with them. Nothing was a bother and that was appreciated!

We were unable to stay at Lighthouse Unit 2 in June 2022 due to being uninhabitable to to water damage from a leaking roof. We were told by property manager Yamba Iluka real estate it had been damaged in March and had not been able to get fixed due to bad weather and would take a significant time to dry out then be repaired.
Our business trip stay at the Mobydick Resort was truly exceptional. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment that offered the perfect blend of comfort and functionality, with spacious interior and high ceilings. The attentive staff further elevated our experience, making it a great choice for our work related travels.
A retro little hotel done up beautifully to provide comfort and all the little extras with a great surfy feel.
Really accommodating owners who allowed us to leave our car there while we did the Yuraygir Coastal Walk. Central, affordable and great service with the courtesy bus to our door for Yamba Shores Tavern.
restaurants around hotel were great for breakfast, lunch and dinner.Beach is lovely, and very close to hotel so location is excellent.i was moved out of my 1st room due to workman next door and for only a little extra they upgraded me to a nice room. Thanks
The Stella is at the top of the hill in Yamba - great views, next to the Pacific Hotel. Very handy for the town centre and also just a short walk downhill on the other side to a lovely beach.
Very bright accommodation, great communal facilities.
The location is breathtaking, sweeping views of the sea in an old-style hotel which has recently been done up (at least our 'signature rooms' were very nice - maybe not all the rooms as the bar area and other aspects seemed pretty dated!)
This was an annual end of uni trip to Yamba. Seagrass was amazing, beyond good value for money. Such a convinent location. We rented the house, So much space for everyone to be together or do their own thing.
as a solo traveler , i could not ask for a better place to stay- I’d recommend it for couples with no kids as well. It was super quiet but once outside the Cove, you are the stairs to the beach 🏝️
Amazing in every detail, location and views, facilities and the general feel of the place was sensational. Without doubt the most premium property in Yamba
