We loved St Peter’s and was central to the concerts we attended during the Celtic Colours International Festival. It is situated by the canal that connects Bras d”Or Lake and the Atlantic Ocean. We enjoyed walking the path along the ocean and in the provincial park. It is a very pretty area and has a friendly small town feel. We attended a Seniors Craft Sale and an Open House at the Fire Hall, which were impromptu events for us, and people we talked with at these events were friendly, informative and interesting as they shared their stories.

We started our trip in Halifax and were going through this area towards the Cabot Trail. Definitely recommend doing the trail this way as when you follow the trail counterclockwise your vehicle is on the coastal side of the road!Turkey - 8.0Scored 8.0

The people we met in St. Peters were lovely. The grocery store closed at 6 pm which was a bit early for our needs. The Bras'oD Inn had the best Seafood Chowder and the staff were nothing short of wonderful!McIver Dietrich - 10Scored 10

St Peter's Marina for local & transit boaters as well as moorings, gas/diesel, pumpout, laundry services, full washrooms including showers, Free Wifi access even on moorings, BBQs, propane/grocery available 5 minute walk ! Excellent place for sailors!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yellow Bird B&B! It was in a lovely location, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was served in a beautiful sunny room in a very gracious manner. The food was delicious, and we had the opportunity to talk with other guests if we chose to.

I left in the morning so didn't take advantage of anything at the hotel or surrounding area but it looked like a nice area with a cute small town.SarahCanada

It was nice to be right by the canal and the dock out back was a great place to watch the blue herons and the beauty of the lake. The room was nicer than I expected based on the pics. Friendly staff. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet.
