St Ann's Motel & Cottage is offering accommodations in Baddeck. Each room at the 4-star hotel has sea views, and guests can enjoy access to a garden and to barbecue facilities. I loved the location, friendly staff, the beautiful view from our bedroom, and also the room was warm, cozy, and so comfortable!
This Baddeck, Cape Breton Island property is just 1640 feet from Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site. An on-site dining room and rooms with private bathrooms are featured. Wonderful location, clean, comfortable rooms/cottages, great price. Amazing 5 star restaurant on site!
Located at the start of the Cabot Trail, these spacious apartments and cottages are within 1.9 mi of Bras d’Or Lake. Free Wi-Fi and beautiful on-site walking trails are available. Roland’s exceptional hospitality as well as the pristine condition of the premises/lodging.
The Water's Edge Inn & Gallery is located in Baddeck, overlooking the Bras d’Or Lakes. The uniquely decorated rooms have free Wi-Fi access and a cable TV. All the units enjoy a small seating area. The owners, Anne and Jeff, are the kindest hosts we have encountered in a long time. It was a real delight to get to meet them. The apartment was decorated and furnished with love. It was very cozy and everything we needed was provided. Jeff gave us good advice on which trails to do and the breakfast with homemade rolls, Jeff's waffles and delicious porridge (which was included) was delicious. Also we arrived at the right time to experience the colorful foliage. We can strongly recommend staying at Water's Edge!
Built in 1868, this historic inn is in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, and overlooks Bras d’Or Lake. It has an on-site restaurant, and free Wi-Fi access is available. The hotel is centrally located within Baddeck. Walking around town was easy as everything was close by.
This lakefront property is conveniently located across from a private beach in the outskirt of Baddeck Village. It features a heated outdoor pool, on-site restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Rooms comfortable and have everything you need. Staff are very friendly. Restaurant is great.
We loved our room and the restaurant at Lynwood Inn, the shops, and the Bell Museum where you could spend hours. Most everything is walking distance however if travelling by car heading North you should gas up before the turn-off to the town as there is no longer anywhere to “fill up” unless you’re driving an electric car . There’s a charge station right beside the Inn.
Baddeck is one of the nicest towns on Cape Breton Island. It is part of the Cabot Trail loop. There are many accommodations and very nice restaurants in town. The setting on Bras D'or Lake is stunning. A great spot to explore nearby trails and cultural activities.
The entire area is quite beautiful. The Alexander Graham Bell site was very interesting and quite nicely explained the nature of the estuary and ongoing conservation efforts. Definitely worth a visit.
great place to start and finish a tour of the Cabot Trail. Trying to do the Cabot Trail in one day can be done but what is the rush; there is so much to enjoy. So stop at Baddeck before and after the Cabot Trail and savour the whole experience.
The location was perfect, write at the water front. Some excellent restaurants in the village and some helpful shops. Some of the drivers should watch out for pedestrians (perhaps they were tourists). At at the wharf restaurant and it was perfect. Entrance into and out of the village to the Highway 105 tricky.
Very friendly town. We were just here for a get away and had no plans!! but on a previous trip here we visited the Alexander Graham Bell museum and it was quite cool. This trip we went to the Uisge Ban Falls and it was a beautiful hike. Bean There cafe has excellent coffee and baked goods!!! As it was off season a number of restaurants were closed . We ate at Joe's Pizza and "Three Doors Down" both were delicious!!!
This was a very charming Auberge. The service was very good and the restaurant cooking was fresh and delicious. We stayed for two nights and the Auberge was situated very well for getting around the Cabot Trail. This Auberge have a nice old fashion of hotel but has all the qualities that any other high end hotel have. The place is on the woods and there is a very picefull environement that this charming Auberge offers. I would definetily recommend to have a stay there. Thank you for the nice time!!
Nespresso available in room! Room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We were in a cabin with parking right outside and a deck, giving us somewhere to sit outside. Great location in the centre of Baddeck with cafe/bakery opposite which was convenient for breakfast; view of Bras d'Or lake; and other restaurants / diners. Motel has its own 'fine' dining restaurant with a great looking menu, but we didn't eat there. Instead, we ate at the Three Doors Down Diner.
Free breakfast was very good. Hot waffles, real oatmeal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, fresh bread and more plus a friendly host and friendly guests. Alexander Graham Bell Museum was within walking distance and was so interesting we went back a second time. Nearby telegraph house restaurant was also excellent and st michaels Ceilidh was fun. Great location for all Baddeck.
Location was close to Baddeck with great views. Restaurant on site was convenient. The chalet we stayed in was equipped with a fridge and microwave and bathroom had a full bathtub with plenty of hot water. There is a gazebo and fire pit on the water ready with wood to burn, keep in mind you have to cross the busy highway first
Spotless one bedroom housekeeping unit.beautiful scenery from your own deck with a Bbq. Fireplace in dining area. Rowland was very helpful with a tour of unit . Great place to tour Cabot Trail & Baddeck & area. Very pleased and would definitely recommend .
OK location, easy walk to downtown Baddeck, NS. The Grounds are very large and well maintained. Also, the Restaurant was reasonably priced with excellent staff. And as a bonus they have local musicians in at night, with the quality varying accordingly.
Excellent place to stay and great value. Lovely older house and wonderful hosts. Very comfortable accommodations in a pretty location, not far from Baddeck. The breakfast in the morning was tasty and filling. Very happy we stayed there!
Breakfast in the main lodge was very good, with a good variety constantly refreshed. The location was within walking distance of the core of Baddeck and several good restaurants.
Spotless. Lovely house with kitchen facilities available, a real home away from home. Lovely view and wonderful deck to watch sunset. Would recommend for a stopover in Baddeck
The room was comfortable, great view, friendly staff nice heated outdoor pool. Hotel situated in large grounds.
Perfect location. Quaint old hotel. Walk into town. Friendly staff.
