Evenskjer is a quiet town just at the entrance of Lofoten.
Evenskjer is a quiet town just at the entrance of Lofoten. The main road is not going through, so it is calm from the traffic. During winter, there is not much to do here, but still a nice experience if you like snow and christmas vibes. There are grocery stores open all day. If you're lucky, you can catch the Northern lights also.

The staff at hotel was very welcoming so check-in and check-out was a breeze. They kindly accommodated us two in the single room. The room was clean and had a nice view of the bridge. The views from the restaurant was stunning. The included breakfast was such a gem—very filling, tasty, and good amount of variety.

A lot of credit for providing unlimited tea and coffee from a machine. Great value compared to most prices we paid for places. Also we left before breakfast so they offered us a picnic to take.
