Set a 5-minute walk from central Narvik, this hotel offers free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. Narvikfjellet Ski Center is just 164 feet away. During Covid, the Budget rooms are not used, and I was given a room at the Thon hotel, which was nice. The breakfast was great! I was looking for something cheaper but found nothing else in the town. So this is not a cheap hostel, but it was very comfortable.

Very modern cabin, amazing view of Otosfjord with panoramic glass windows and super close to ski lifts. Well equipped kitchen area and very clever arrangement of space throughout the cabin, especially the underfloor heated wet room.
Quiet ski area. Interesting Arctic town. Stunning fjords and mountains. Not very focused on international tourists. Good dining options are limited, but service everywhere good. Transport from airport by hire car (recommended) out by airport bus.
Narvik is a good gateway to northern Norway. We stayed only for one night and then continued to Lofoten. There is a famous cable car above the city but it is enough just to get to the lower station of the cable car and there is almost the same view as from the top. The weather is unpredictable and changes quickly.
I love that the city is in a way surrounded by the fjord; very nice surroundings, with lots of walking ans skiing possibilities, depending on the season. Interesting II World War history and great War Museum!
Narvik is a very pretty and friendly township set along the very beautiful fjords. Delicious cod and local beer at fiskeroken restaurant. Bus ride to Polar Park was a scenic delight and got to see lynx, wolves, deer and bear. Mountain ranges are a stunning snow covered winter wonderland. Train ride to Narvik is amazingly beautiful and breathtaking. Get that camera out!
We flew into Narvik airport which is a bit more than one hour bus drive away from Narvik. We stayed a good guesthouse for one night. Before leaving Narvik we visited an animal park which is approx one hour car drive away, but worthwile a visit if you want to see some of the Norvegian mammals.
The arctic train from Kiruna to Narvik was fantastic. Absolutely gorgeous views, one of the prettiest in the world. Check out the War Museum too in Narvik, and hike everywhere! The Narvikfjellet in the midnight sun was a highlight.
Breakfast Buffet was very good. Personal was very friendly and were lucky to help if there was a question. Regarding costumer relation I want to light up, that they informed me that my outbound train may be cancelled since other guests had the problem. Overall, the Hotel overall was very tidy and comfortable. Also nice was the little sweat treat besides the free available Coffee and Tea in the Lounge/Livingroom.
Narvik
Ideal location , very stylish apartment with super comfy beds and everything you might require for your stay including a great coffee maker. Perfect for our visit to the museum n Narvik as the apartment is minutes from the centre. Great recommendation from our host Sofi on where to eat - iatrogenic bar literally around the corner serving great food.

A fresh and lovely house with plenty of common space: a spacious living room / lounge with sofas, tv, games, etc. and a kitchen with fridge, microwave, electric kettle, etc. By car it's 20 minutes to Narvik or to the Swedish border. Lots of nature around. A very helpful owner.
The Scandic was a very good "business" style hotel. We only stayed one night on our way from Reine in Lofoten to Tromso and it served the purpose of a good, clean place to stay. The restaurant was good both for dinner and for the buffet breakfast.
The location of this hotel is awesome, the bed was super comfy and the room was really good. The breakfast was improvable but also was good. There was variety enough.
Location a little bit higher from the city was good. We also went from the hotel next day with gondola to visit the mountain.
Was a super stay! Room was cozy and soooo clean and thats what every customer is up to when staving in a hotel.
We got a free upgrade to the hotel rooms because they hadn’t gotten to cleaning our room yet.
perfect location with everything needed and simple check-in. good option in narvik!
