The Garston Lodge is a heritage building. It is obviously older, but well maintained. Room was small, but fine for a single person. Tea, when I got there was much appreciated. Breakfast, self serve, was also excellent.

The Garston Lodge is a little oasis on the Garston-Athol Highway en route to Queenstown. Made the booking while on the road and were pleasantly surprised. Warm and comfy, a great sleep.

traditional hotel with a lovely clean and updated room. Faciltiy to make your own drinks and breakfast in commual dining room which was a good opportunity to caht with other guests.
