Loved the little extra attention to detail, like the basket service and replenishment of room items. Room was beautifully presented. Spa and sauna were amazing after a day up the mountain!! Could not fault anything- property was perfect and value for money for families travelling and wanting kitchenettes.

Wanaka is a very pretty place, but it has become a mini Queenstown. It is so busy with tourists and camper vans. The shops in town centre are all very pricey and tourist oriented, accomodation is expensive. It was shoulder season but still busy.
We ate at Big Fig Wanaka, Relishes Cafe and Federal Diner.
We enjoyed the food caravans esp Charlie Browns & Dripping Bowl
Cocktails at Water Bar were excellent.
The best food experience was Bistro Gentil. 5 star service and food was out of this world. Definitely a place to go back to but not for budget priced meals!

The lake frontage with stunning views of the mountains and lake and choices of eateries catering for vegetarians
Good parking but roadworks made it difficult at times to get around
Would recommend the Big Fig for vegetarians and Charlie Brown for great crepes

Wanaka is the most beautiful place to visit
The views of the lake and surrounding area are really stunning. It’s seemed a really peaceful place with just enough to do. Plenty of eating out places to choose from and many activities and places to visit. We will definitely be back.

A wholesome town just outside of Queenstown. I could've stayed here weeks. It was a great location to be based at for Roy's Peak Summit, more hiking and days spent by the lake. Bonus activity was a dinner and movie night at Cinema Paradiso. A really lovely town with a very live-able atmosphere.

There for Wanaka challenge - love Wanaka big time and so pleased the event will be back in town next year. Love Glendhu for weddings and can’t wait for for our daughter to marry her fab man there in October
Beautiful lake view, the balcony and the star gazing at night. Comfortable beds, clean hotel room. Heater was left on arrival, the girls appreciate the chocolates. The restaurant meals were delicious and good quality, great customer service and we got free drink vouchers. We appreciate an email notification regarding ongoing road work outside the hotel.
Everything about this property is gorgeous from the location, setting and furnishings. It's a really lovely holiday for a family group and a nice change from the usual Wanaka hotel chains. And for nervous drivers, don't worry - it's a simple 20 min drive into beautiful Wanaka.
Self contained cottage was cute, compact, cosy and clean.
Steve gave us a friendly welcome ably assisted by his canine companion, Beau. The friendly vibe was duplicated at the local hotel where we were greeted as if we were regulars.
This property was excellent, so much better than any Motel or Hotel. Beautifully presented and exceptionally clean. Lovely home made breakfast, with lovely people. Also received the recipe for homemade bread.
Average 4 star hotel in convenient central location. Good for 1 night stay. Well priced. Fabulous view across lake to mountains from first floor Lake View room. Onsite restaurant and cafe.
