Vienna has a lot to see and music for those who enjoy it.
Vienna has a lot to see and music for those who enjoy it. Interesting museums. Amazing castles which give you a look into history. Beautiful parks to take a breather. It's big and spread out but public transport works well and getting a 48/72 hour ticket is well worth it. Dining out was expensive but worth it each time. Was a lovely experience

It is my favorite city of all time.
It is my favorite city of all time. It is the safest city I have ever been, even at night. It has gorgeous buildings (my favorite was the Town Hall) and everyone is really friendly. I would also recommend going for a night walk to see Vienna in a different way. It is not particularly expensive and eating outside is affordable even if you are on a budget. I would also recommend trying the food stalls located all over the city. Public transport is fast and affordable, you won't have yo wait for It for more than 5 minutes. I didn't use It that much as It is viable to walk everywhere, but It is really good. I stayed only for one day as I was visiting various cities in Europe, but I wish I had had more time and I will surely go back. It is viable to visit it in one day if you are in a rush (as I was), but I would recommend staying for at least 3 days to see everything in detail and get lost in this gorgeous and enchanting city.

We love Vienna and visit it at least twice a year.
We love Vienna and visit it at least twice a year. The hotel Motto did not represent the warm Viennese hospitality we experience everywhere else in the city. The Hotel Josefine is where we always have stayed in the past which is so warm and welcoming. We will return there in July.
I visited Vienna for a week on the early Spring of 2024 and stayed at the Hotel Stefanie.
Hotel Stefanie is the oldest hotel in Vienna and it does live up to the name. The hotel has a charming 19th Century atmosphere without sacrificing modern amenities. Rooms are super-clean and staff is very helpful and polite. The location is exceptional for anyone visiting the city centre.
Hotel Stefanie is not the most luxurious or biggest hotel in Vienna but it is great value for the price. I would not hesitate staying at this hotel again.
Exceptional staff and service. Very clean as well with daily housekeeping if wanted. The location was perfect as only 2 stops from the city centre via tram service 43 amd 44 along with services 5 and 33 going north and south. The continental breakfast is great value for money if you pre-booked it or pay on daily basis depending on plans. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable on just about everything and can tell you how to get anywhere or what things to see or do.
I won't use any other hotel in Vienna due to all the above.
Very clean, modern and minimalist in a pleasant way. Bathroom very nice. Staff professional but also friendly and helpful.
Check in was at 2, but staff were helpful and willing to check you in earlier if rooms were available. If not, secure bag area was available.
This hotel was really pleasant and a great place to stay in Vienna for a fair price. Great location just outside of Wien Hbf (5 minutes from train platform to room), with a tram stop that takes you directly into the city centre.
I had a wonderful stay at The Tabor Rooms in Vienna. The staff was very welcoming and available, especially when we checked-in where the receptionist was friendly and made us feel comfortable with his big smile. The room exceeded my expectations beacause it was very big and bright. We loved the position and the neighborhood, connected by 10 minutes walk to the city center. I absolutely recommend this hotel beacause we loved our entire experience there. Would totally come back.
It's in a decent location not too far of a walk to the Hofburg. There is a tram station at the end of the Street. It's about a 10-minute walk to the U3 U-bahn which you can take to the city center train station and pick up the airport shuttle train. It's an older Hotel the Wi-Fi is ok. The street is pretty quiet. The breakfast is good. For Vienna I rate it as a good value. In the past I've paid the same for hotel not as good and way farther out so I recommend this hotel.
This is a great hotel in a good location in Vienna. You can walk into the centre (about 25 mins to Karlsplatz) but it is very easy to get the u banh wherever you need to go. The u banh is a few minutes walk away and takes you to both the city centre and Schonbrunn palace. The hotel itself is clean and the staff are friendly, they even gave us a voucher for a free drink at the hotel to celebrate my birthday. The rooms was nice and spacious.
We booked this hotel due to its location close to the centre of Vienna, and the relatively low cost for the room. The hotel is very old and arguably in need of a refurbishment. The room was very basic but did the job. The best thing is the location within walking distance to the metro and the city centre, but if I were you I would shop around for a better solution for your stay within the price range this hotel offers.
Hotel was in a quiet and peaceful place. Tram station is only 100 meters away. Underground is 7 mints walking. So very convenient public transport. Also hotel has their own private parking place 15 euro/day. So you can keep the car in hotel parking and use public transport day ticket for visiting all the attraction inside the Vienna city. Vienna city centre is just 3 Kms away from the hotel, if you go by walking.
Great hotel. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was great - everything was fresh and well made with a lot of vegetarian options. The hotel is close to the central train station, so it is really easy and fast to reach the airport. Public transportation in Vienna is amazing, and it took us 10 minutes to get to the city centre. I would highly recommend this hotel
Professional and kind staff with a warm welcome. Amazing location in the city center where all you need is within few minutes walking.
Very nice view from room balcony. Very special breakfast and afternoon snacks serviced in the first floor.
I highly recommend this lovely hotel for those who visit the capital Vienna.
Lovely hotel, staff was friendly.
Room was perfect for a family of 4.
No problem navigating from the city centre close to tram stop.
local shops if you need anything and a few cheap restaurants if kids are tired and you need to grab somthing quick.
We will defo stay there again if we visit Vienna.
the room is so clean, and the area is so quiet
it is a bit far from the city center. However, it is near the metro station which you can easily go there.
it is near Prater park and its big garden which you can go and enjoy.
overall the hotel is recommended for anyone visiting Vienna.
Nice hotel to stay in Vienna:
- next to Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof (station)
- 30 min from Vienna Central Station by direct tramway
- 15-20 min from city center by direct tramway
- spacious room
- good breakfast
- helpful staff
- option to leave luggage
Wonderful location within walking distance of the main city centre. There is an underground station nearby. The hotel is basic and no frills, and good value for central Vienna. They stored our luggage for a few hours on the day of check out.
Comfortable Rooms, Good Bath. comfortable bed.
Location is great if you have a car - about 15 minutes drive from the airport and same distance from Vienna city center.
we traveled with a baby and the hotel put a crib without extra charge.
Comfortable- Best night sleep
Location- If you are planning to use the subway for sightseeing in Vienna, the location is perfect .2 min walk from metro station. You also save money from rather booking a hotel in the city center
It's a great hotel with everything you need for a long stay: awesome view, friendly staff, and comfortable beds. The only drawback was the long distance from the city center. Regardless, the best place to stay in Vienna)
Very good hotel if You want to visit Vienna. Near to metro station so You can be in city centre in no time. Prices were good, rooms are big and very comfortable. Clean bathrooms. Basically everything was good.
Good location.Very close to the city center and 50 meters to the underground station Comfortable and clean room.Probably We'll be stay again in this hotel for our next stay in Vienna.
