We loved going to Dangar Island and the ferry ride.
We loved going to Dangar Island and the ferry ride. We spent all day there. Everyone was very friendly at Oasis and helpful when we asked but attention to detail in the room would have made a big difference to our stay. Clean pillows is a must. We ate at the local pub which was okay but not great. We walked a lot and the area is quite charming.

Brooklyn is a lovely quiet little fishing village, on a Thursday and Friday. Our walk around the foreshore parkland was very relaxing. The Pub has great food. Cafe on the corner was perfect for Breakfast. Dinner at Mooney Mooney Club was delicious. A nice little Club with great service, even though it was very busy on Trivia night.

The apartment was in brillant location ,close to restaurants and walking to ,ferries train station , The staff and owner could not have been friendlier and sitting on verandah having a wine was even better .the 2 bedroom unit was very clean and we had all that we needed .could not have been happier .and definitely would recommend and will be returning .great friendly place and perfect to relax ..AAnonymousAustralia - 10Scored 10
Brooklyn is a tiny town at Hawkesbury River railway station.
Brooklyn is a tiny town at Hawkesbury River railway station. It is a great destination if you want to fish, kayak, jet ski or explore the river. A short ferry ride to Dangar Island, and upriver tours are possible on the Riverboat Postman. It has an excellent boat ramp and the opportunity to walk into the bush. Very interesting mangroves. The town has very limited parking - don't drive there on weekends unless you have your own reserved spot.

Everything was walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Plenty of great eateries & the hotel was right across the road from the motel. The best breakfast we have had for a long time at Homer’s Kitchen & the first class fish & chips at Lifeboat Seafood. The dressing on the salad was exceptional. The chef refused to tell me the secret.
