The rooms need to have a towel rail to hang wet towels. Also a second chair would have been useful, sitting on the bed trying to eat is not good. I realise that often these rooms are occupied by one person, but since they can accommodate 2, 2 chairs useful. Re towel rail, given the rooms are small this could be done by puting a rail on the room door. We liked the fact you could fill the kettle from the sink, surprisingly we stayed in another hotel called the Rose in WA on the way home, beautiful kettle but you couldn't fill it, it was too tall for the sink. Considering we were from interstate and I have some serious dietry constraints we were disappointed about the food. It appeared on the website that food was available. I realise your problem but dont recommend Domminos again its awful. But certainly recommend the Chinese restaurant its great (even though it looks suspicious) and they know their food allegies and are wonderful. If I had known this the first time I would have gone there. The problem with Chinese food for Gluten intolerance can be the soy sauce, but they understood that. I grew up in Elizabeth 35 years ago and Elizabeth High School was my school. My Mum worked at the school so I know that the Rose and Crown was the staff's local and went to several celebrations there on end of year staff parties. Therefore I am aware of its history. It was good to see its still there, but sad to see this wonderful venue decreased essentially to a Poker machine venue. Interestingly the Rose Hotel in Bunbury where we stayed on our homeward leg is also in a regional city, although established a bit earlier than you its size of venue is comparible. They offer some cool deals for guests and local patrons re food, even a complimentary drink like you, so check it out. The size of your establishement is copious and could well handle more people. I know Elizabeth is not well endowed but I grew up there and it would be good to see your pub thrive again.
Offering free WiFi and an on-site restaurant and bar, Playford Tavern is located in Adelaide. All rooms offer a TV, refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities.
Lots of meal choices from multiple pubs and restaurants.
Lots of meal choices from multiple pubs and restaurants. A pleasant main shopping street, but this is very busy with large vehicles coming through at all times. The modern shopping centres on the outskirts of town have robbed the town itself of many shops and facilities.

The bathroom was not great.
The bathroom was not great. You could not turn on the light without the whole apartment being lit up. No good in the middle of the night. Also the shower had to be run at a trickle as it would over flow.
Amazing, genuinely hospitable hosts, friendly staff. Staff had great local knowledge of the area and were happy yo assist with maps.
Gawler itself is lovely, local shops, friendly staff and UBER were amazing..

At Gawler specifically for BMX Championships - so the proximity of the track to the venue was a key decider. Lovely little town, very pretty, good amenities and a number of venues for eating if you are not feeling like cooking on your trip!
Close to wineries if that is your bent!
Only an hour out of Adelaide.

I love staying in Gawler it’s close to our kids homes but the cabin in the park was dirty which is due to the cleaners not doing their job properly and the owners should do a check on the cabins to make sure they’re clean

Charming place with lots of choices to eat out.
Charming place with lots of choices to eat out. My accommodation was within easy walking distance of the town centre and a historic walk along the river. However the heat discouraged me from too much walking and parking in the town centre is a bit limited. I recommend travelling there when the temperatures are a bit cooler.
Loved the nice modern funky, open plan room.
The bedding was lovely and very warm.
I enjoyed the use of WiFi and Netflix.
The instructions for checking in and out, perfect and very easy process.
Fab location, easy access to Gawler main street and on to Tanunda.
Very clean.
Shampoo, conditioner and body wash a good bonus.
The night my son and I stayed I paid $169 which I feel is a fair price for the accomodation.
Its location was great for visiting our daughter in Gawler, lots of shops, near the Barosssa, a railway station nearby to go the city.
It was clean lovely staff, a lovely 6 weeks stay.
Would highly recommend.
Thank you.

Was something different rather than your standard hotel/motel room staff where amazing. Would definitely recommend for anyone didn't even feel like we was in Gawler and just looking around the place at all the history was great.
The breakfast options were very generous. We had everything we needed. Our host was super helpful when we accidentally locked the keys in the house! The house is located very close to the main street in Gawler.
This is by far one of the most beautiful little hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It was absolutely lovely and very comfortable. Loved the breakfast and enjoyed the free Netflix and wifi. I highly recommend it 😊
I stay here every time I come down to Gawler, I highly recommend it. It's at the top of the main street, so everything is in walking distance. It has a little kitchenette and is always very clean.
Spotless, well equipped and beautifully decorated cottage. Kirsten is a great host and communicates effectively. Highly recommend the delicious meals at Asian Central Gawler.
Great location with a 5 minute walk to local eateries and the Gawler Shopping Centre.. Good spacious kitchen and living areas. Quite private with fencing all round.
