Owners were very welcoming the location was near airport and the town of Corozal. Pool was a nice break and the grounds were manicured with almond trees and many tropical plants that provided shade and privacy. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Would stay again the next time we are in Corozal town.

We Travelled all over Belize, this was one the most memorable experiences we had in our two weeks in the country, the owners live on site and are a wealth of information as they are Americans that have lived in this country for 20years and total get the Belizian people , we drove all over from here. Also flights from Corozal air strip . Cabanas are great with AC also found the best restaurants close by

The people of Corozal are amazingly cordial and polite. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful.
The highways were better than I expected - couldn’t tell from online pic’s and videos and I had heard that roads were not good. But - no problem with any highways. They were just fine! Out back roads were - hmm, what can I say - fun?! Yes, fun! And in town roads were less than stellar. (Then I came home to my 1st world town and encountered many potholes - so ... whatever!) BUT - everyone drives courteously and carefully. I felt like I had gone back in time to when people took care of each other - even with their driving. Fewer rules, but greater care.
We loved the laid-back relaxed vibe. We loved the fresh delicious food. We loved the beautiful sunshine. We loved the sudden sundowns and sunrises. And - We loved the music of morning birds as they greeted the sun.
We are coming back!!

Strong Spanish influence in a town along a beautiful bay with friendly locals and a moderate amount of restaurants to chose from. Limited breakfast offerings. Wood House Bistro was good value and Chinese food, Corozo Blues not recommended by this traveler.
Taking a trip out of town to Sarteneja for it's great and empty beaches is well worth it as is a trip to Orange Walk town.
Prices in Corozal area are quite a bit lower than in Belize City, especially if you shop the market for foodstuffs.

Strange town - no good restaurants, and we (two women) did not feel comfortable walking the streets, as the locals kept shouting things to us. Only stayed there to catch the water taxi to San Pedro and Caye Caulker, would recommend going to Belize City and take the ferry from there instead to avoid staying in this town.

We visited the town cultural center and was introduced to a self tour map of historical sites within a one block area. The town has some gems for restaurants: Mar's Caribbean Breakfast and RD's.
