Radisson Fort George Hotel & Marina is located in Belize City. Each room features air conditioning and cable TV. There is also a coffee machine. All the receptionist even braded my wife's hair
Located just 328 feet from the sea, this charming colonial hotel offers spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi. The historic Fort Point Lighthouse is a 2-minute walk away. Nice, clean and great service. The guys help the suitcase carry up in second floor. Very friendly.
This modern hotel is located in a quiet area in north Belize City. It offers a fitness center, outdoor pool and rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. The Biltmore Holiday Inn is very well staffed, with a great exercise room, pool, in-room safe, and a spotless facility throughout. The gift shop is well stocked with interesting local Belizean hot sauces, books and more than the basic necessities. The dinner offered Belizean fish soup (of the Garafuna culture) which was a meal in itself. Located halfway between the ferry and the airport, it was a great way to end a trip and prepare the the homebound journey. The price for the double room and meals was a good value as well.
Easy Inn Hotel is located 2.4 mi from Belize City Center and 1.9 mi from Belize Municipal Airport. It features a garden, terrace and business center. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Everything was more then enough...
Offering outdoor pool, plus a spa and wellness center, Princess Hotel and Casino is located in Belize City. The ocean view and the hotel breakfast were amazing. It was a great location as well!
Just 328 feet from Belize City’s seafront, The Red Hut Inn features a terrace and simple accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Kind management with a friendly family environment. They made me feel welcome & at home, particularly since I was a single women traveling alone it was a nice relief. I loved my adventures in Belize! Thank you, "Red Hut Inn." Rose

Belize city for us brought back many pleasant memories of our childhood. There was a lot of similaries between there and the country of my birth. These include the the friendliness of the population, the housing, the hot temperature, availability of taxis, the fruits and local drinks. Fish dishes were our food of choice. Fun activities included boat trips to ilands in the cuyes, picnicing and swimming.
I was in the city with friends but other than that, did not feel comfortable there at all. Riverside Restaurant was excellent. Bird Isle was very nice, but getting around in the city is very difficult, with unmarked one way streets, etc. The Ramada Princess is a fine place o stay, with many amenities.
Closed on Sundays, everything! I was in BZ City near the end of rainy season, the last week in September, the city experiences frequent, intermittent down pours. The taxis and tour drivers will pester you in a nice way wherever you go and it doesn’t stop, they get indignant when you don’t respond. It’s disconcerting. Care must be taken walking streets and walk ways due to open drainage access. Go to the museums. Celebrity Restaurant, over rated. Princess, even by what I read about food and service, others have over rated it, just pass unless you like a bit of aggravation with your meal. The travel concierge in the lobby was excellent, communicated in prompt manner as promised via email.
IT's like many capitals not incredibly interesting and rough edges. We did the Baboon Sanctuary, the Belize Zoo and cave tubing 3 highlights. We stayed in a residential area out of the rough edges in the city. Best to get taxis. I would not stay in Belize City so many days (3 days). We ate at an Italian Restaurant on the water and ordered the next night.
I am biased because this is the land of my birth! My only complaint are that driving in the city can be a hassle. The environment forces you to slow down and take in the beauty of this beautiful country! Buying food along the roads is fun and cheap! I enjoyed my trip back to Belize!
The area around Fort George is kinda of sketchy. I would not venture out too much at night. The good thing is the ferries for San Pedro and Caye Caulker is within walking distance. I would recommend the Ocean Ferry because it is cheaper than Belize Express. They both leave at the same time each day. A couple of our favorite restaurants are the Birds Isle, Celebrity, and the Radisson hotel. Birds Isle has typical Belizean food. Celebrity does a lot of seafood. We had whole red snapper. They split the fish in the kitchen and gave my husband and me identical plates. (We shared one dish because it was huge). The Radisson had delicious Belizean potato pound. This is a dessert made with sweet potatoes.

Chris, my fellow namesake, was absolutely brilliant. The fact the place is situated opposite the water taxi terminal and tourist village is sensational! The restaurant attached is also cheap and delicious. The room is clean, very secure, quiet and cool - perfect for a short stay in Belize City and ideal for being able to get shuttle buses/water taxis at any time.

The staff members are fantastic and a breakfast is a great, which met my expectation. There is a cozy and beautiful garden along with the cannel next to it. Recommend this place if you stay in Belize City.

Nice pool area and food options. The staff were friendly and accommodating especially Marie for arranging tours and getting taxis. Closest hotel to airport. Outside of Belize City. Supermarket nearby.

Walking distance from Water taxi. Not expensive. Definitely a budget hotel, but they don't claim to be more than that. Staff was very nice and it was very clean.

Every part of this experience from the the moment we stepped out of the airport to the moment we stepped back in for our return was exceptional. The staff is the perfect amount of professional and friendly, the bungalow was super cute and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the beach and sea were divine. Very chill and relaxing. Exactly what we needed!! We grabbed some bottles of booze from duty free and a couple of snacks from a store along the way which was nice to have once we got on the island. Have already recommended this place to my beach loving friends!

It was very relaxing. It is a small island with no other resorts or businesses and the only place you get wifi is at the bar/dining hall. This helped to get to know other travellers staying there. The staff were super friendly and helpful with anything we wanted. The ground was swept clean everyday and the room was made up while we were at breakfast.
