The fact that the Hotel had rooms facing the ocean is a plus!
Quiet area around the hotel and close to the highway for scenic drives. Easy access to many restaurants and the centre of the small city.
Access to Coombs which is a small centre with unique sites.
Close to Qualicum which also has beach frontage and a wide selection of choices for dining.

Nice little town, close to the Sea Edge Motel.
Nice little town, close to the Sea Edge Motel. They seem to have everything: fast food, great grocery stores, Dollar Store, Home Hardware, pubs, Mini Golf, nice restaurants and plenty to see in the area like Cameron Lake, Cathedral Grove, Qualicum Beach, and Coombs Market where the goats are on the roof!

Parksville is central to going up to the Comox Valley, or down towards Nanaimo, various golf courses, and beaches both in Parksville and up and down the island. If you are into the Artisan scene, there are so many spots to check out in Parksville and surrounding areas. If you enjoy nature walks there are many in this area.

Excellent place for families with young children.
Excellent place for families with young children. The beach is fantastic for finding shells and crabs, with loads of small tide pools. Swimming is the best in warm water. The community park is excellent area for children, with a water park beside it. Ample parking too.
Our hostess Anneke was a delight ! The wooded property just a few minutes from Errington/Parksville with a beautiful country home. We enjoyed a lovely reception of coffee and homemade pastries and our room was clean and comfortable. We relaxed and sat on the porch watching hummingbirds, rabbits, and other birds. Comfortable nights sleep and then treated to a delicious breakfast each day. Anneke gave some great ideas to do during the day including visiting / hiking Englishman river falls. Highly recommend !!
As I write this review, I am dreaming of the amazing breakfasts prepared with such care by our host, Anneke. The pride that Anneke has in her beautiful home is shown by all the little details she puts into hosting her guests. Our accommodations were clean, cozy and comfortable and the location is secluded and quiet, but only 15 minutes from Parksville. Thank you again Anneke!
I stayed October 13, 15, 16, and 17..the front desk evening staff member (didn't get his name) was very attentive, helpful...he showed exceptional customer service...I will definitely recommend Coast Hotel Parksville to anyone who asks, and I will definitely be staying there the next time I am on Vancouver Island
Sea Edge motel is right in the heart of Parksville so walking to shops was easy. So nice it is right on ocean front with the lovely walk along the water right outside your door.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and kitchenette was well stocked.
Thanks again for great stay.
I loved everything, it's one of my favorite places to stay at in Parksville. So much to do. Can rent canoes, paddle boards, kayaks, and bikes. Have the hot tubs & indoor pool. I seen other reviews saying the rooms are paper thin for sound but it didn't bother us at all.
The facilities for in house cooking were excellent, however, there was no information for restaurants in Parksville or Qualicum Beach which if you are a tourist new to the area would have been very helpful instead of having to drive around and search.........
The adjacent rooms are not sound proof. I was on schedule/routine of my neighbors and their young child. Hotel is clean, nice, well maintained and WOULD have been an amazing getaway for R&R if neighbors were quieter or room was sound proof
Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The hotel was clean Very nice, helpful staff. The restaurant is also great. Good food and great Margarittas. Just wish they could get Rootbeer or sasparilla at the restaurant.
The hotel staff extremely nice and accommodating. The room was a perfect size for a solo traveler and had all amenities I needed: small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toiletries. Outdoor patio area was lovely!
Breakfast was excellent! Location was excellent for access to the central facilities in Parksville. We had friends camping at Rathtrevor Provincial Park, and we chose Travelodge as our base camp.
The hotel is super clean and easy to get to. Rooms are updated and large. The fellow who checked us in was wonderful. He even made a point to open the doors for us whenever he saw us coming.
Everything, there upgrades to the property and rooms are spot on and there dedication to making the guests stay as comfortable as possible is incredible. Best hotel on Vancouver island
Breakfast was delicious. We were given many choices and she she very willing to accommodate our needs. The location was quiet and very close to Parksville.
