The view! This has an amazing view of the valley and mountains. Absolutely breathtaking. Pun intended. This hotel is a hike, uphill and many stairs. If you have any mobility challenges, this hotel is not for you. Some staff were very helpful when we discussed going to Jungfrau and suggested we visit with him in the morning before decided to go or not - due to the weather. Our room was very lovely and had this incredible view and a balcony facing the mountains - there was also a courtyard where you could get snacks and drinks to enjoy the view and the staff worked very hard to dry this off after a brief rain. There was water & a bowl of snacks in our room. Nice touch. The quaint town has a few restaurants, bars and shops that we visited. We were lucky enough to see a complete double rainbow! The visitor center was AMAZING! Definitely check them out - they were sooooo helpful and fun. The train was easy to manage, ran frequently and was inexpensive. We went to Lauderbrunnen to visit the falls and have lunch. The hotel was willing to open a bit early and serve breakfast because so many visitors were leaving early for Jungfrau - breakfast was quite good.
