Scandinavian Food and living in the same vibe experience.

Very friendly and comfortable and convenient little place.

Breakfast was really good and very satisfying. Our room was clean, and it was already tidied up when we returned in the evening. The location is great - just a short walk from the station - and the views you get while walking around during the day are amazing!

Convenient location, good breakfast, kind and helpful staff

Really beautiful historical property and a unique find. Was the most affordable last minute option I could find that was in Interlaken. Part of it is a hostel, part of it is a hotel, we stayed in the hotel. If you are looking for modern, this is not for you. The lobby is gorgeous, ecclectic, art deco feel, and hopping at night. It was a nice place to sit and and watch the variety of people. The garden is gorgeous, we also had a mountain view! I have children and a dog, they seemed to enjoy it as well. Staff was really nice.

Loved everything about this property! The heated pool was terrific, as was the food and breakfast buffet. The truly magical part of this place is the staff, everyone were friendly and went out of their way to help you out. We got the family room with Mountain View and the view from the balcony was absolutely gorgeous. And the city of Wengen, being a car free town, is breathtaking

It was one of the best views ever from a room I stayed in. Wengen is amazing and Hotel Alpenruhen's location is excellent. You can see the entire Lauterbrunnen valley below. Hotel is 12 mins of train ride from Lauterbrunen and then a 7-8 min slight uphill walk from Wengen train station. They pick you up and drop you off at check in and check out which is very nice. The room is spacious, modern and luxurious. Breakfast area is comfortable and food was delicious.

The views of the mountain were great. Everything was clean and we were in a great location. The hotel had everything we needed for our stay too. We didn’t have time to use the sauna but went to the restaurant and the honest bar/lounge.

absolutely stunning views from our room overlooking Lauterbrunnen valley across to Jungfrau and glaciers and Murren on the otherside of the valley. Walk through town, quaint and picturesque, close to end of ski season so quiet village

An outstanding experience with all the charm and style that only Swiss can provide our experience was made all the better with the exceptional customer service and care to ensure that we had a memorable experience.

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. Staff was helpful. Hotel’s location was very close to the train station, which makes transportation easier for tourists.

Beautiful location in a beautiful mountain village

Pricey but very very good, Especially the food! Best to have a car to get there and best to stay more than a few days.

We loved everything about this hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, fridge with welcome drinks included, the daily breakfast was superb, the on site restaurant possibly had the best views in town.

The staff, the cleanness, and the room’s view. Their breakfast and dinner are great too.

Very friendly staff. Great experience sitting in the outdoor Jacuzzi for sunset in winter.

The amazing views from our balcony

The view was spectacular, it is one of best I’ve ever seen. The staff was very friendly.
