Everything was great, family business running their Lodge with so much love. They were very welcoming and flexible to accommodate us. Our stay was fabulous, we saw sloths in the forest right next to our room and heard the forest night life, fabulous experience! We had everything we needed for our night there, highly recommended! I can't rate this enough!! If you need a place to stay, come here. Marce and Fabio were the best hosts ever. The property is so beautiful and we were instantly greeted upon arrival after Marce personally arranged a taxi for us from downtown. They cooked us the most delicious dinner both nights we were there. The day after we checked in we were looking for something to go do. Marce and Fabio sent me all the bus times and gave me recommendations on where to go. The first place we went was a great restaurant with a giant property in the back with trails and a river. Our hosts personally called the restaurant owner so he was expecting us and took us on a little walk to see some sloths. Second place was an amazing sloth tour at a rescue center that helps animals that have been run over or electrocuted. Our hosts weber way above and beyond and it was a great memory that I'll cherish
Perfect location If you like outdoors . The sound of river and night bugs and animals definitely added an excellent plus for us. Restaurant is great and they make whatever you order. The owner goes out of his way to make your stay pleasant. You can either spend the entire day there or take a tour and come back to this little hidden heaven.
We ate by the pool while watching the lighting show offered by Mother Nature! I will definitely go back.
