The room was spacious and well appointed. The brunch buffet selection and staff her great. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It was also nice that the buffet lasted until 11am instead of just 10am like a lot of other hotels. The lobby and common areas were beautiful and a pleasure to interact with. The location was very convenient to the metro line which was literally just outside the front of the hotel.

We were in Prague for 8 days.
We were in Prague for 8 days. I don't really believe you can visit Prague in less than a week and hope to really get a feel for it and experience what it truly has to offer. Don't be discouraged by the commercialism of the Old Town area. When you cross the river into the Mala Strana you will suddenly see how beautiful Prague can be, and why it is actually a popular destination. Kampa Island is also beautiful and full of wonderful restaurants, bars, and cafes. Be sure to visit Prague Castle. St. Vitus Cathedral is amazing! It is one of the largest, most impressive gothic cathedrals we've ever seen--and we've seen Notre Dame and all the major cathedrals of Paris. Also, people speak a lot of English in Prague--far more than we had anticipated. I was prepared to speak a little Czech, but never had to at all during our entire stay. We would definitely return. I think staying in the Mala Strana would be very charming and convenient, but to be honest, we stayed out in Vinostrahda at the beautiful Don Giovanni hotel, and it was only about a 10-15 ride on the metro green line straight into the heart of the downtown area. So, if you can get a great deal on accommodations outside of the city center, as long as it's near a metro line, often it's a better deal. Also, coming from the U.S. the price of restaurants and groceries in Prague are quite inexpensive. We live in the Seattle area, and Prague is WAY less expensive--unbelievably so, in fact. Prague has a lot to offer. There is a lot of beauty and culture to experience there, and the people are friendly.

So much to wonder at, enjoy, learn and understand.
So much to wonder at, enjoy, learn and understand. The history, the innovation, the culture, the fun. Fabulous. Just a small tip - if you only need to see and photo ‘the book column’ don’t queue. Just walk up the flight of steps to your left and the column is right there. You just won’t be able to get a pic right in front of it or look up into it-but still good photo opportunity.

Take good walking shoes, the best way to experience Prague...
Take good walking shoes, the best way to experience Prague is on foot.
Visit some but not all Church's - they are all spectacular however.
Try the local food - the portions are large so be careful on the waistline.
Use local taxis (Uber app is essential) rather than pre book via any website.
