The room is tiny but soooo cozy, it has everything I needed and I just felt like home. It is also very clean. The stuff speak English and was very friendly. I knew the bathroom was shared when I book it so I was prepared but still a bit nervous. It was surprisingly clean. Featuring northern Germany’s best-preserved medieval center, Lübeck justifies its UNESCO World Heritage listing. The river surrounding the old town connects it to the historically important trade route of the Baltic Sea, which is why it was the capital of the Hanseatic League of merchant guilds for over 500 years.
Warehouses from that time still line the waterfront and are now shops, restaurants and bars. Their step gables, and the Gothic spires that dominate them, are best viewed from boat trips around the island. The tallest spires belong to 14th-century St. Mary’s Church, similar in style to the cathedral of the same era.
However, Lübeck’s icon is the Holstentor, the most impressive remaining city gate which sits on a separate island by a park. This is the first thing most visitors see after arriving at the train station from Lübeck Airport.
The road through the gate leads to a cobbled square housing the porticoed town hall and part of the annual Christmas markets. Other stalls are in Koberg square, overlooked by Saint Jakobi Church and the medieval Holy Spirit Hospital. Nearby are shops selling the famous Niederegger marzipan founded here, and the former houses of Willy Brandt, Günter Grass and Thomas Mann.
The Lübeck accommodations on Booking.com include hotels, apartments and guesthouses, most with parking.

Stunning Old Town that you can spend hours wandering through. So much effort has gone into restoring the impressive Seven Towers Church spires) that define the city. Make sure to visit all of them!! Lovely walk along the river with stunning gardens everywhere, especially the roses

Lübeck has a lot to see and do.
Lübeck has a lot to see and do. It has been beautifully restored after the damage in the second world war. The churches and the medieval hospital are well worth visiting, as are the Grass, Mann and Brandt exhibitions.

Lubeck seems to have miraculously survived world war 2 having plenty of very interesting buildings to look at. I found it very pleasant for a stroll around especially in the evening. There are plenty of high class clothing shops there and the eating opportunities look good. It is only a short bus or train ride to Travemunde which seems to be a magnet for locals and tourists.

Loved the vibe in Lubeck - plenty to see and do.
Loved the vibe in Lubeck - plenty to see and do. People seemed friendly and I just wish we could have stayed longer. We travelled to a few cities in this part of Germany over the course of the week, finishing in Hamburg, and Lubeck is the one I always look back on fondly.
Hotel is in the heart of historic Lubeck, in the nice and quiet street. The hotel is marked as only 2 stars but we felt ourselves excellent in it and had everything that we need. Breakfast was super with a wide variety of choices - salads, cheeses, meat dishes, hot egg dishes, desserts. Wonderful, friendly and attentive staff. We also were glad that staff speaks English.
The location of this hotel is excellent. We are regular visitors to Lubeck and know the town. We always travel by car from SE Sweden, and the pay as you go car park is 25 metres from the hotel and very reasonably priced at 12 euro per day. Beware though as the exit from the hotel can confuse owners who wish to return and park outside the hotel to load up luggage.
Hotel seems to be a new chain with a modern feel, and hip design. location was perfect. easy to park on the street next to the train station (the hotel has no parking). excellent breakfast. our room is comfortable, not too small as some reviewers mentioned. Lubeck is a lovely city, worth a visit for half a day, on our way to Copenhagen. Recommend this hotel.
It was clean, quite even there are same works on the bridge near the building.
I was in a few hotels and is same kind a trend not to colect trash daily.
Here are clean and they clean every day !
Self check in was ok and thay offer us parking.
Very close to big gate of old city.
Well placed hotel close to train station and old Lübeck. We were here on a rainy day, so happy for the big screen. A real plus with free coffee and a free candy ... yes free candy. It has a fridge with very reasonable prices for beers and soda. Friendly staff
Perfect location in Lubeck centrum. Hotel is very nice and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Also there's safe private garage just 200 meters from the hotel.
There was also a special present waiting in the room for our dog!
The rooms were huge and more than I expected. We even had a separate room for a small kitchen-dining area.
The furniture and artwork around the hotel were high quality, colonial style.
The access to both Lubeck and Travemunde is ideal.
This is an old fashioned hotel, which perfectly fits the gorgeous old city of Lübeck.. The location is perfect. Our room was clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds. The charming receptionist gave us some good tips about the city.
Everything was very nice with this hotel, the staff is very friendly, the room was amazing big, clean, comfortable and very silent. I would definitely go again when I visit Lübeck. I even received some suggestions on what to visit!
The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was really good. The hostess was very friendly. A bonus was the busstop across from the hotel, so we could go into town by bus and did not have to worry about parking the car.
The hotel met my expectations. Not the best area in town, but decent location with free parking. Decent breakfast and kind staff. Good hotel for 2-3 days vacation. Lubeck is a city to ignore not, strongly recommend.
Nice hotel at a peaceful location, right next to a lake.
The receptionist was really kind and helpful, and the breakfast was great. I had an amazing sleep on the comfortable bed.
Location. Newly renovated apartment with studio kitchen was small but wonderful. Good Value. Breakfast was outstanding at nearby hotel owned and managed by same organization.
The hotel was great. The location is perfect in the center. The room was clean. Breakfast is great. I definitely recommend this hotel to other guests of Lübeck.
