Stayed their for only one night as we were picking up a cruise the next day. Everything was good and the service was exceptional. As two senior women travelling I was very happy that the resort provided a wonderful person to pick us up at the airport and then he took us to the cruise port the next morning. I would definately stay their again. Also we arrived late evening so most eating places were closed so the owner made us an amazing pizza. This was a wonderful jesture as we were both tired from a long travel day and just wanted to relax. This was much appreciated.

Bahia Principel Bougainville adult only resort was a very comfortable reasonably priced resort. Like the concept of a large “load” activity pool and equally large a quiet pool both serving good drink selection.
And service. The food was very good in both buffets and a la cart restaurants.we like the Bahia app through which to easily make reservations for restaurants. IF you are a golfer the PGA Ocean course was great!

La Romana is a town with lots of shopping malls, heavy traffic, construction sites so quite noisy place.
Getting around is difficult unless you have a car.
We enjoyed the stay inside our accommodation, did not see much of the town.

I don't give a damn if the hotel is compliant with the green idiots! I wanted someone to help me get a comfortable mattress topper, to no avail! Maybe they should invest in hiring people speaking English
The good things about the hotel were the helpfulness of Giovanni who helped organize day trips for us (eg. cigar factory, Higuey cathedral, caves, Casa de Campo) as well as transfers from the airport and to Santo Domingo. The breakfast was good and very filling. The room was a nice size, clean and comfortable. The hotel felt safe. The driver who took us on the day trips and the transfers (Santana) was excellent. He was very nice and helpful. What makes this hotel a good place to stay is that it's a base for day trips in the area.
What I didn’t like? Everything way exceeded our expectations. I can’t give enough praised to our maid and cook, Diana and Wendy; they were the best ever, very friendly and their service was 5 stars, always available 24/7!!! The house itself is not modern or recently renovated but everything was clean, on point and confortable. Location of the house is prime, very close to Minitas Beach, we felt very safe…Ohhhh and their breakfast service was outstanding!!!
Most of the staff really try to accommodate your needs as best possible. The food is seriously delicious, and the drinks are not bottom shelf like alot of other resorts (not top self unless requested at an additional cost, but mid level liquor is standard) The premium meals are a treat, both the steak and lobster choices are some of the best you can get. You immediately see the value asoon as you arrive on the beautifully kept grounds
Very clean, alive is much better as on the photos here, cozy and comfortable. The bed was comfortable too , there is a little terrace , opportunity for a parking, very hell apartment and for one person absolutely enough. And one more time - very clean, I will book again if I need. A washmashine is there too (normally not often to be there in a lot of such apartments in La Romana)
The staff, from owner to helpers, cleaners and others, were extremely helpful to me and gave attention to detail and personalized service. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel.
It was handmade, fresh, delicious and healthy!
Thank you team! You are doing a great job for your customers that want to have a real people's experience in La Romana.
Very nice property just renewed, very clean. There are two pools in front of the bar where you can enjoy good drinks. The restaurant food is great, real Italian meals… one of the best carbonara in my life. Excellent hospitality, very nice and friendly people. Will be my first choice if I’ll come back in La Romana.
The hotel was everything and more for my family and I! We never wanted to leave!
The rooms and bed were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious and the staff were exceptional in their service!
You will definitely have a great time staying at this hotel- I will make it my business to go back!
Enrique was a great host and very amicable.
The hotel is located near a beach (several minute walk) which also has some great restaurants with a variety of cuisines.
The pool and rooms are quite nice.
There is a Netflix subscription which is great!
